Trunk to Trunk is silent
« on: September 28, 2010, 04:21:56 PM »
  So here is the scenario.

PRI w/DID numbers
DID number matches system speed call.  (2182)
System speed call matches extension. (1031)
Extension is re-routed always to external number (9xxxxxxx)

When DID is dialed from outside you just get silence.
When Speed call or Extension are dialed from inside, the forward works as desired.

If a speed call is set up that matches a DID, with (9xxxxxxx) the call will forward correctly.

WTF?

do you have 'public trunk to public trunk connection allowed' set to yes in the COS of the ext?

Yes, on both the trunks and the station.

I mentioned this system has only digital PRI trunks right.  Believe it or not, the fix was to put a preceeding pause (P9xxxxxxx) in the speed dial.

Why it worked when the DID was a speed dial, and didn't when using call redirection I have no idea.

Frustrating problem...ate up a few hours today...
