Mitel 5000- Issues with an IVR extension
« on: July 11, 2017, 01:35:32 PM »
We have a Mitel 5000 at one of our client sites. Suddenly the ivr extension 3 stopped working and now says "The person you are trying to reach is not available at the moment. The ext is setup to book hotel rooms and ring front desk phone.

How can we resolve this issue and get the ivr ext 3 work normal again?

Thanks..

cirious,

Well the first thing I have to state is that the message you are hearing is not a standard voice mail recording for the MiVO-250 built-in Voice Processor System. So what type of IVR are you working with?

Thanks,

TE

I might be wrong, but with the mention of a hotel or hospitality package, I am guessing this not a MiVoice Office 250 (Mitel 5000) since that is not an application it is used for, but it is a Aastra 5000 or MiVoice 5000 which is sometimes used for hospitality.

If OP will clarify the system or equipment involved, we can either help or move to the correct area.

Thanks.

Is this an option in a menu mailbox or an actual auto attendant (using Mailbox 3)? If it's mailbox 3, make sure it is a transfer only mailbox and then check the destination in maintenance commands to make sure it isn't in DND or busyed out or something.

I haven't seen one for a while, but that looks a bit like an MX1...?

Vince,

This is an AX controller (used for high density analogue extensions like hotels)

Hi guys. We are not able to access Mitel as of now. Just want to know what could be causing this? And how can we fix it.

It's a web server... what do you mean "can't access" it, do you get the login page?

I've seen where the web server quit responding at times.   Only solution I've found for it is to reboot.  I usually can log into the SX2000 interface and set up a scheduled reboot.  That has always fixed it.

Unable to access means its in a remote location and it cannot be accessed.. Can just be rebooted as its plugged into a PCU that can be remote managed. Is there any way we can fix this issue via the ATA connected? Or any other way where Mitel is not involved?
