Mitel 3300 mxe-111 - Outgoing caller ID
« on: January 19, 2017, 06:05:41 AM »
We have operated this system for a number of years for our small office in the UK.  When the system was originally set up, the outgoing caller ID was set as the main extension number, but now appears as 'unknown', meaning that some of our outgoing calls go unanswered.  Can someone please advise how we can change this back to our main extension number?  In laymans terms please!

Many thanks in advance!

mictmull, what software version are you running? There are a couple of ways to accomplish this via CPN substitution, but if Caller ID isn't sending at all that sounds more like a change on the carrier side.

mictmull, I'm assuming you have an ISDN link and ALL outgoing to this link display the same caller ID.  If this is the case, then check CPN Substitution form as what ZuluAlpha said.

You'll see "Default Voice CPN", and "Default Data CPN".  The entries on these fields should be the caller ID you want.
