Hookflash Disallowed?
« on: September 23, 2014, 08:26:50 AM »
We completed an upgrade to 6.0.11.92 on our 5000 and one user who has the Mitel bluetooth headset is getting "hookflash disallowed" when he answers an incoming call.  The message is then followed by a busy signal after which the call is connected.

I assume this is probably a flag that got tripped, but I'm not sure which one.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks

You need to upgrade to the latest 6.0 SP1 PR1 6.0.11.95 There was a bug that has been fixed.

MN00542004   Fixes IP phones with cordless device modules hook flashing when answering calls.

And to fix the other bugs you haven't discovered yet, upgrade to SP1 PR5.

PR4 was ok,  PR3 was a dud and was led to PR4 being an emergency build.   I can't remember what PR2 was about.

Bhackbarth,

That would be the previous version of software, this customer is on 6.0 SP2 PR1 not 6.0 SP1 PR1. I think there may have been a typo in one of the responses that may have been confusing, but just keep in mind that 6.0 SP1 versions are 6.0.10.x and 6.0 SP2 are 6.0.11.x.

Thanks,

TE

Yes sorry, my typo.
Should be 6.0 SP2 PR1 (not SP1)

Ahh - thank you guys and sorry for the confusion . I didn't know SP2 was out already.  I am behind yet again.  Can anyone post the release notes? I'm getting a 404 trying to view it in MOL
