in the project there is only microwave we don't have direct analog lines all our work on UTP so we used the gateway for this
what did you mean by "Might also be worth extending the first digit timer as well also in COS; both down near the bottom."

Seems to indicate Cat5e aavailable...

Yes, true.
I think Fouadae needs to confirm.
Could also be
Mitel 3300 --> UTP --> Switch --> Microwave --> Switch --> UTP --> IP Phones and other devices??

Ahh, makes sense now.

You may also need to check dial plan on the SPA as it won't dial straight out and will wait for timeout if not set correctly.

Did you try this....

Panasonic say....An overseas transmission error occurred. Try using the overseas mode (feature #23 on page 76)(of user manual)?

I'll have to leave you in the capable hands of sarond for this one. I looked at the linksys manual and there is a whole lot to get wrong on that side. Especially in the dial plan.

There is not really a lot more I can offer as it was the issue of dialing out that I was focusing on.
If the fax connects then it's another issue besides dial plans.

Here is a doc on the SPA8000 which is essentially the same as 3102 but with more lines.
It's a bit old but still relevant.

Just thought of another thing.
What type of trunks do you have and how are they being delivered.
Sounds like there could be an issues at the carrier side of things, maybe they are compressing voice??

I'm a bit out of my depth with this one,
I'll have to let others assist.

I don't use SIP trunks or MBG very often.

Have you got T38  fax enabled in the linksys? If yes then try it with that off, if no then try and enable it. The problem you have is that, as i see it, you have multiple servers in the line and I thiunk they are fighting each other. I do wonder if the Linksys needs to be set up to the MBG rather than the 3300 to give you in effect a separate analog line out rather than an extension on the 3300?

just a shot in the dark really.
