Remote Call Forwarding
« on: June 02, 2014, 03:37:44 PM »
MCD 4.2
UCA 5.0
iLink 9.0

I have a customer looking to remotely activate call forwarding on their office endpoints. I am fearful of implementing DISA to allow this because of prior fraud/hacking experiences with this customer. Anyone know of any UCA or iLink options, or any other method that could be used to achieve their request?

UCA app on mobile phone to manage EHDU would be slick IF you have the licensing.

If its a single user wanting to change their own end points then using UCA along with a PRG is the best bet. If they need to be able to change other peoples end points then its DISA, or a console or maybe call recognition feature.

ave they access to the network or a PC remotely? If so just give them a web access to their desktop tool and they can activate/deactivate forwarding and reprogramme it as well if they need to change the number.
