MCD Trunk Extensions
« on: January 27, 2014, 01:03:22 PM »
MCD 6.0 SP2

Scenario - I am migrating a customer from Multi-Node Axxess ATM’s into clustered MCD’s. I am using call recording via Tracer PRI/T1 taps. Currently they have a 5-digit numbering scheme for trunks, which I would love to be able to keep, to reduce programming changes for recording/reporting on cut-over weekend.

Question – Is there a way to allow the use of 5-digit trunk extensions in MCD? It currently only allows 4-digit.

619Tech, you stated that your doing call recording via Tracer PRI/T1 taps. By Tracer, do you mean Oaisys Tracer? If so, you'll have to reprogram it anyway to match the SMDR of the MCD, which will insert a T in front of the trunk number.
