Check to be sure that in the ARS the digits expected matches your digit length.
When you dial a number is the error immediate or does it pause a sec?

Ralph

I usually set the digit length to unknown just in case you have some numbers that dont conform to the numbering plan.

I notice that you said that both your controllers have the same IP address is this correct?

If this is the case, then you will need to change one as no network device can have the same IP address.

If they both have two different IP addresses can you post your the IP networking programming if possible.

I have a question that no one seems to have asked, In the Cluster Element assignment form you have to enter a CEID (identifier) and CEID digit string (which is the ARS digits dialled route).

When you say you are dialling the CEID + ext number, are you dialling CEID or CEID Digits?

for example CEID = 101 with CEID digits 1101. Its the 1101 that should be entered into ARS not 101.

If you are not in a cluster you do not need this. Only a route that references the IP trunk group to a controller.

yes but in Opal joe's opening statement he says 'I get the same results if I dial the CEID number' so I am presuming they are in a cluster or their would be no need to assign cluster ID's.

It would be nice if the OP would post his networking info and ARS / network/node info, as somthing might be more easily noticed.
