Forum Notifications - Can the question be listed?

This question is almost embarrassing, but here goes:  Is there a setting where, when a question or reply is posted, that the actual notification email INCLUDES the text in the question/reply?  Right now, all I get is the subject, and would greatly appreciate to see the whole post. 

Is there a setting for that, or is that as far as this forum software goes?

It's a good idea but current software doesn't do it.
