COS profile doesn't work properly
« on: June 23, 2012, 10:22:09 AM »
Hi Friends,
I have a MXeIII platform. I arranged No body can access Trunks without entering independent account code.
To restrict COS number 5, I set Verified account code to No, But members of COS 5 can get trunk entering Account code
What's wrong with my configuration ?????

Your post is confusing. Are you trying to restrict the use of trunks by forcing people to enter an account code? If so verified account code should be set to yes. There is some additional programming also. Please confirm first

You can't stop someone from using someone else's account code.   You can  only beat them for doing it.

Here's how I set these up:
1- Restrict all telephones that you want to force to use account codes via COR.
2- Give them each unique codes that have unrestricted COR.
3- If you want to stop phones from using account codes to dial out (meaning you NEVER want them to dial out) give them a COS that has an account code length that is shorter than the account code length you used for your independent account codes.  That way when the enter an account code it wall always be invalid.
