Remote Retrieve

I have a system running MCD 5.0 that uses call hold remote retrieve and it just stopped working. They use a button with a speedcall to the FAC and then dial the extension holding the call. Now after they enter the last digit of the extension they get "Not Allowed." I have checked all of the COSs involved to verify that the remote retrieve option is enabled. Also, if you use the FAC instead of the speedcall you get the same result. The calls come in on a PRI, hit the embedded VM, caller selects option and the are then routed to the deptartment they need on a multicall.

The really odd thing is that it works if the call originates from within the building.

I wish they would park the calls, but that was too many steps. Not really, but the person in charge didn't like it.

Any ideas?

I think "multicall" may be a clue.
This is actually something I tested here in our office just 2 days ago.
Can't pick up a call holding on a multicall button.

It was working on this site and I can use remote retrive on a multicall in my office.

I think I am just going to move them to ring groups so that the call rings the prime and I don't have to worry about it.

In the back of my mind I seem to remember that at one time I was able to do a remote hold retrieve on a multicall line.   
I just can't make it work now for some reason.

That is what was so odd to me, this site was working fine for a month or so and then suddenly nothing. I thought maybe something was locked up and a reboot would fix it, but that didn't make a difference either.
