5000 Trunk Key LED on 5312 and 5340
« on: June 01, 2012, 05:41:34 PM »
We recently installed a 5000 with 5340 and 5312 IP sets at a doctor's office. The customer has 5 telephone lines; I made trunk keys for these lines. When there are multiple calls on hold they want to differentiate the call the particular person placed on hold. For instance, with the 200ICP the individual's Trunk LED is flashing green instead of orange. Am I missing a flag or is there any work around on this? It does get confusing for them when multiple calls are placed on hold.

Go to System / Devices and Features Codes / Flags

There's an option to allow Green LEDs virtually at the top.

I haven't tested this as I don't have multiple analogue lines on my test system but this may give you some disinction between your held call and other held calls.

Let me know if this works.

Cheers.

It works with that flag turned on.
