Mobile UCA App

Is anyone using the location services portion of the mobile UCA app on iOS? Does it work? I have it installed and setup to change my status when I come and go but it doesn't do anything. I wanted to see if anyone had made it work before I messed with it.

I let it be partially because I didn't want to automatically (rather than manually) change anything and partially because I was concerned about battery life.

The mobile app works fine on iOS.  As akuhn stated, if you turn on location services it will eat your battery because the app is constantly checking your current location.  Make sure that GPS is enabled on your device.  I have tested this with an iPhone 3G, 3GS and 4S.
