phone book and external hot desking
« on: February 27, 2012, 06:24:18 AM »
Hi.

We have in our directory lots of mobile phone numbers programmed in for ease of dialling, we also have lots of our offices programmed in....e.g Houston, Manchester etc.

These appear to be consuming external hot desking licences even though we are not using the feature for them.

Is there a better way of doing this so that we can have these mobile phone numbers and office numbers in the system without using an external hot desking licence?

Thanks,

yes, just add them into tel dir as external numbers (include the outside access code).

Hi.

they're listed as external numbers in the Telephone directory but it does appear like they're consuming an external hot desk licence

My apologies

It doesn't look like the entries are taking those licences up - it's the fact we have a lot of speed calls set up for mobile phones.

although they're not using the hot desking function, we've only put them in so they can be used as 1st alternatives for call forwarding when logged off etc
