5610 Handset PIN

Does someone knows how to reset the 5610 handset? I am almost 100% sure that the PIN has not been changed, but it won't take the default 0000.

Is there a way this phone can be restored to factory default?

I don't see anything in the documentation besides to change the code or reset the gateway.
