PIN replacement code
« on: January 18, 2021, 11:54:21 AM »
How do you use the ### PIN replacement code? I have tried using it at the "enter pin and press hold" prompt that a new phone get's when first booting up. I have tried using it as a feature code, pressing the feature key and entering ### but that fails.

It would be handy if I could de-register a broken phone and register the new phone and not have to get into programming to clear the MAC on an extension.

cahrens,

Well, if you setup your DB for this then it would work unless you have the phone your replacing still up and running.

Go to System > Phone-Related Information:

Enable PIN Replacement: Yes
Access Code for PIN Replacment: ###

Thanks,

TE
