Boot process error when upgrade the RAM Module to 1G
« on: May 06, 2020, 09:58:23 PM »
Hi Mitel friends.

I have an issue that i am getting an boot process error when upgrading the memory from 512 to 1 G. Part number is 50006727.
In the Vxworks i can see Main Memory 1024.

I can also see the following errors:
* Error loading files: errno = 0xc0006
* Cannot load boot file
* Error reading block 0, errno c0003
* useFdiskPartParse error

I turned everything back and use the old 512 RAM module and the system boot up successfully.

Can somebody help me out with this one? Maybe the RAM Module not compatible ?

Thanks in advanced.

Gimitel

Upgrade to 8.0 first, then install the RAM... If it still fails you have a bad RAM module and should get a replacement 1GB module.

MCD 5.0 does not support more than 512MB, so adding it will give you no advantage without upgrading.
