Trunk Mxe to an Cisco Switch
« on: November 27, 2010, 12:40:28 PM »
Guys,

I have to link an Mxe controller to a cisco switch.
Can someone tell me if the below config is ok?
On the cisco switch they are using Vlan 400 for voice. I addes the vlan id 400 in the option 125 and also changed the l2p to 6.

interface GigabitEthernet1/0/1
description *** Uplink To Mitel Mxe Controller ***
 switchport access vlan 400
 switchport mode access
 mls qos trust dscp
 auto qos voip trust
 spanning-tree portfast

thanks alot,

gimitel

the config will work, however you'd have to take the bigger design into concideration.

That was my thought last night when I read this limamikeseven, however couldn't say it so clearly :)
