We've upgraded a call centre from MiCC v7 to v9 and added MiCollab with softphones.
It has 29 agents that work shifts 24 x 7 and need to work on any of 22 separate desktop hot-desk machines.
We've not been able to package the MiCollab activation and hence are having to log in to every single machine and activate MiCollab for every single user with an activation code unique to that user/extension. This is 22 x 29 = 638 separate logins, having to use the user's own AD login and password. Each activation code can only be used 3 times, hence for MiCollab activation on 22 machines, this means we need to generate 8 separate codes per user, total 232 activation codes.
This is a horrendous logistical nightmare.
Does anyone know a better way of activating MiCollab on for each of 29 agents on each of 22 machines?
I've seen references to Web activation, but we don't have MBG servers - not sure if that would matter?
