Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Direct SIP calls to PSTN via Mitel
« on: April 02, 2012, 11:40:02 AM »
Hi,

We currently have the below topology working

[PSTN] <-------isdn30--------> MITEL CX3000 <-------sip trunk---------->LYNC 2010

Calls from the PSTN can route to Lync users OK by traversing the mitel using ARS, and Lync users can call IP phones registered to the Mitel, but when I try and call PSTN from Lync it hangs. According to the route plan on Lync it is leaving the server OK and hitting the mitel.

It could be due to the fact that the  the only way I can get the Lync to call mitel based extensions is by using digit absorbtion on the SIP trunk, is there a better way of programming this?

Thanks
Duncan

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel to Lync Direct SIP drops calls
« on: March 29, 2012, 03:49:10 AM »
Hi,

I have set up a direct SIP trunk between our Mitel PBX and our Lync Server.

Calls from Lync to mitel work ok, and inbound calls from the Mitel box to the Lync Server route and answer ok.

The problem I am having, is that calls from the Mitel to the Lync server terminate with a busy tone after 1 - 2 minutes. (calls in the other direction are fine)

On the Lync Server logs I see the below message

"Normal termination response from gateway after the call was established";component="MediationServer"

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Thanks
 Duncan
