Check Trunk > IP/XNET > ICP/PBX Networking

There could be the old IP in the IP Networking tab of that form.

You can also usually unlock the lockout by maintenance command BUSY RESET {EXT}

The same command also logs out a hot desk user.

Nice work, thanks for sharing.

Yes, I find it very useful for recording greetings for Auto Attendants etc...

Make a call to VM as the AA extension to login and change greetings.

It all depends how the calls are routed but if you are just wanting to call forward a specific extension there are two features I would investigate.

Ensure permissions are set correctly first.

Remote control (Activate/deactivate function via third-party phone)
*06 <Destination No.> <Function>

or

Making a call on a third-party phone
#36 <Destination No.> <PIN>

After the PIN you should be able to dial *21 feature codes as usual.

My understanding is that IP/SIP phones will register to the Master. The satellite is for TDM stuff like digital/analogue extensions and digital/analogue trunks. Anything IP will register to the master, including SIP Trunks.

Not sure uploading firmware via the gui in MiNET mode has ever worked.

Best bet is to either setup a TFTP or Web server and host the firmware on there. Then try the Manual Upgrade from the handset option.

Here are a few links

Also you can get the latest SIP FW from Mitel https://www.mitel.com/open-solutions/6900

When saving from excel as a csv I've never had to open in another editor to replace ; with ,

When I save a csv it is still comma separated.

You could try opening the original csv in Notepad++ then do a find/replace
e.g.
find {guid of MiVB1},,
replace with {guid of MiVB1},{guid of MiVB2},

I can only go by the error in the screenshot.

e.g. 6905 IP should be the device type not the PKM  field.

There may be a comma too many or not enough somewhere. Are you opening the file with excel or just using a text editor.

Even with SIP Firmware on the 69xx model they are designed to only connect to a Mitel Communication Server, not third party SIP servers.

You could get the firmware from the below.

e.g.

Appears that the csv is corrupt and not lining up correctly.

The values aren't valid for those fields.

Hotdesk users may need to be logged out first.

You can logout all users in maintenance commands
LOGOUT HOTDESK INTERNAL ALL

You can also logout a single user using a FAC. Maybe try one first as a test before logging every user out.
