Mitel Software Applications / NPM FAX setting

hi all,

i have setup Mitel 3300 MXe with MCD 7.0 with MAS and NPM on MAS, Voice Mail is working fine with MWI.

but i make the line group settings with dialer/pager and FAX group with shared 6 channels for FAX ports with the to line groups Voice Mail and FAX.

i am receiving FAX normally but i am not able to send fax for external numbers and it works fine internally through NPM FAX Client.


anyone could help and advice please?

thanks for reply. I fix the issue by adding the pilot number of suite to guest room forum under Hotel property management.

Dears,

any one had this before. I have an issue i configure Mitel 3300 ICP for Big Hotel and i am facing below issue:

They have 50 suites and in each suite they have 3 X IP Phones. as documentation on Mitel I have to configure each Ext under this suite as real Ext and Suite Pilot number will be as virtual. for example the suite pilot number is 7111 and the real Ext will be 1001,1002 and 1003. once you dial 7111 all the Ext will ring and that is what I want but the problem once you dial from one of this Ext you will see the real Ext ( example: 1001 ) not 7111  the pilot number. so, i need way to solve this issue that the pilot number of suite should be the caller ID.


so, i need help to solve this .....

Mitel Software Applications / UCA client can't dial ext on external call

Hi All,

anyone had this befor, when you make a call from UCA client to an external number and the answer machine answer and ask you to dial the required Ext. once you dial the Ext it keep silent ( No ring back )

Note: UCA client working through Teleworker server fro remote users.

please advice.

but cann't find SVP server.

you have to have SIP Trunk Lics in CXi and SIP Trunk from Skype.

Hi Maxcheung,

Any update for your TW problem.?

I have the same problem now ( my TW was in connected state, if I use TW mode's phone call other phone, the phone will ring, but both way is no voice. i trapped in this state. )

but what i will do, tomorrow i am going to move the MAS application to Hard Server because it was working in vMwar machine and then I will update you.

Hi maxcheung,

I have same issue. the mbg,awc and nupoint in the same server 1 and another server 2 for UCA 3.2.

the UCA clients working fine internally. but when they are outside the office the clinet shuld work on TW mode. the TW will recive the Certificates and I approve it but once I approve it the clinet can't find the TW server.


do you have idea about isuue?
