Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Consoles and call queues side by side

This is technical not possible or at least of what I am aware of. You can only do this using softkeys with a group of consoles or using desk phones (without consoles) and then use a ring group or multi call.

johnp is correct. Check what COS number you are using for your ACD path and check there the call forwarding option.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / External LDAP access
« on: February 04, 2020, 04:33:05 AM »
Good day,

does anyone knows if when setting up the "external LDAP Client Configuration" for accessing an external directory on the 69xx phones, you still have access to the embedded phone directory? Do the users have access to both? I ask this because you have two profiles that you can setup under the "System Options".

It seems that this was due to the fact that on these systems the phonebook directory is being saved on the network. This happened every time they started the application and the network share was not yet online. Opening the share on windows to bring it online prior starting the MiVB console software made it possible for the application to load normally.

I hadn't update this one. This is how I fixed this. The issue was that I was using the exact same COR for all the trunks. This was the reason why the Mitel was allowing the call to dial out on the first trunk in the list.

This got fixed by assigning an own COR to every trunk. After that I restricted it on the COR assignment. This way the users were able to use only the local trunk as they got restricted to use any other trunk.

We have an system running with different SIP trunks on the same PBX (different countries). The SIP trunks are terminated locally. We have configured COR in a way that the devices call through the SIP trunk based on their location. In the ARS we make use of "Route lists". This works fine also when the users transfer calls. What we are facing is that when a user regardless of her/his location enables "call forward always" option to an external number always the first configured SIP trunk is used.

Is there any option like in COS for example that makes it possible that the same SIP trunk is used? Or a trick in the ARS forms. For now we have created a static route with another out dial number instead of the default 0 as an workaround.

We have a costumer with several MiVoice Business Consoles on the field. Since short we have experienced that afer a restart of the computer they were not able to register anymore. The error that you see right below is "Transport Channel Down. Directory Service not available." Next to error another one "XXXX Controller not connected".

On the Mitel PBX side on the logs we see that when the application is started it comes online for about 1 tot 2 seconds. Below an example: Time 11:03:27 Source Call Control - Maintenance Description IP Device 1 (Ext:XXXX) at location 01 3 01 001 01 The set has been returned to service. Time 11:03:28 Source Call Control - Maintenance Description IP Device 1 (Ext:XXXX) at location 01 3 01 001 01 The set is out of service due to loss of communication.

We got this fixed by disabling Windows Defender followed by a restart of the computer.

I find it odd that Windows Defender so I was wondering if anyone has experienced something similar.

MiVB 8.0.3.17 and the consoles are running on version 8.0.3.10

Got it working. While the second call is going and the first is on hold you get the option to terminate the call (under options button).

And indeed Dogbreath "Replace System based with Device based In-Call Features" needs to be turned on. Otherwise the "terminate call" option will not be available.

Thank you.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Call transfer on Siemens Gigaset
« on: November 15, 2018, 06:19:09 PM »
We have a Siemens Gigaset R650H pro in combination with a N510 IP Pro station. This device is configured as an generic SIP phone.

When you try to transfer a call and nobody on the other end picks up the phone we are unable to get back to the native caller and that the connection to the transferred phone is dropped.

We have tried with FAC "call hold - retrieve" but with this option it does not disconnect the connection with the transferred phone. So you are transferred back to the first line, but the seconds line remains up.

Is there maybe another option possible to get back to the first caller and drop the second one?

Hello,

What is the COS option that permits the user to setup the phone keys from the phone?

13
Just as an update this has been fixed. We received another registration SIP server from the provider side. No more issues since then.

14
That is correct. The MCD version is 7.2 SP1 PR1

15
The current version the system is running on is 7.2.1.13
