I cannot access the web interface. I can ping the ip address. But on the pbx the alarm led is on.

Hi Guys,
I need to install a new project. I have new SSD SATA and CXi chassis. When the system is starting up (booting) the error led on the chassis remains blinking. It is not turning off! Through serial i capture a few pictures that is attach in this topic.  At the end in the booting process i am getting "Give root password for maintenance"  When i enter the root password i am getting the following sh-4.3#

What i need to do so this pbx can continue successfully so i can get the web interface so i can login to start programming the pbx.
Pls check the picture in the attachment.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Whitelist in Mitel 3300

Hi Guys,

I have an customer that i programmed quite a few extensions as NON DID. Now this customer asked me if there is like a sort of whitelist on mitel 3300 which only the external numbers in the whitelist can call the NON DID numbers. Is this possible on mitel 3300 ?

*I have 2 Mivoice Business Console License
* Each Console has their own extentie number ext 500(First) and ext 514(Second)
* On the second console i have ext 500 programmed on the second function key (F2)

What i want to realise is that both console ext 500 & 514 ring at the same time when receiving inbound call

Hi Mitel friends.
I have question having 2 mivoice busines console on one 3300.
Can both of the mivoice business console be Present at the same time? The situation i have now is that both mivoice business console are programmed on the mitel 3300. When one of the console go into present status, the other console will go into absent status. What do i have to do so both console can be in present status ?
Please advise.

Hi Mitel freinds.
I am having an issue with Auto Attendant.
The auto attendant greeting play 3 times before transfer to the operator.
Is there an option in the programming that the auto attendant greeting play only 1 time before transfer to the operator ?

hi Guys,

I did a DGT Trace and i can see the trace is following the path programmed in the route. I don't get any error on the DGT trace.
Inbound calls are okay. With DPNSS selected yes on don't get the Access Denied. When i dailed the last digit of the destination the call drop and emmediately and i get an dialtone again.

I the SMDR i can see the outgoing call records. I am going to use wireshark to see what happen when i made a call.

hello Mitel friends,

I just programmed an sip trunk on a Mitel 3300. Inbound calls are working but I am having issue with outbound calls.
when I dial the 9 for outside line and enter the 7 digits to dial the destination (mobile) it look like that the call is not going out of the pbx, this when I have the Public Access via DPNSS selected (yes) in the COS of the sip trunk and the extensions. When I dialed the last digit the call drops.
 
When the I have the Public Access via DPNSS selected (No) in the COS of the sip trunk and the extensions I get Access Denied on the extension


I checked the SIP Peer Profile and I have an Index that match the extension number and the CPN Substitution.
I put the ccs trace on and this is what I can see when dialing out.

Hi Mitel friends,

I have an Cxi that is malfunctiong. I made a backup and restore the database on a Mxe controller. The issue i am having now is that on a mxe the E1 module is an Dual Framer. On the old Cxi i had an Expanded Analog. When i try to change them to the correct module i am getting error that i have the deassigned them first.

Error with the E1: Deassign the line explicity before reassign it
Error with the Embedded Analog "Analog Service Unit": Device is not deassigned

Can someone help me out step by step how do i deassign the modules so i can program the Analog Trunk and the Digital Trunks.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: Program Mitel 6920 on Mivoice Office 250

Hi Travis,

I am trying to add the Mitel 6920 phone as a standard sip device. I don’t have MCS server setup.
Phone gets an ip address. I have ext 1367 programmed as 69xx series phone on the Mivoice Office 250. When entering ***1367 the phone is not registering. I have Cat F license.

Please advise.

Hi Mitel friends.

I programmed a Mitel 6920 IP Phone on a Mivoice Office 250.
I am having an issue registering the phone. I can see that the phone is getting ip from the pbx but when the phone complete the startup process the only thing i see on the phone is the space to enter PIN.
In the SIP Phone group i programmed a password but when i entered the password nothing happend.

Can someone help me out how to resolve this issue.

Hi Mitel friends,
I have a weird tech issue with a Mitel 5550 IP Console. Last week Thursday I cannot see any call id on the 5550 IP Console when receiving a call. I have no caller id when receiving internal calls and calls coming in on the euro isdn lines.
Normally I can see the extension number when I receive internal calls on the 5550 IP console. I checked the class of service and all settings are okay. (Did not change no settings)
I called another extension that is programmed on the Mitel and the caller id is okay on that extension when receiving a call.
Can someone help me out with this one? Maybe the operator entered a code to block caller id?
