I do get error for when a VM is diverted to my mail box:
VPIM: CSMTPClientMsg::ProcessResult - Failed sending Voice Mail to Email: From Vpim: To Mailbox: 9388 To Domain: <EMAIL Deleted by Admin> File Name: N_V4efcdfc0.01b.
VPIM: CSMTPClientMsg::ProcessResult - Look into SOCKET error number <786434> <0> bytes transferred.

Where is the configuration in Exchange?

Hi,
I haven't recently change the IP address of my Mxe controller, and my voicemail to email function stopped working.
But it worked fine before.

I wonder where about in Exchange is set to accept email from the controller node?

Hi,
Can anyone tell what is causing the status and info on Contact Center Client not updated on real time?
For example, when an agent finishes call, the status is still showing ACD.
When an agent is in a call, another incoming call goes to her.
The counter on Queue graph is not showing correctly as well.
The agents have to close and open Contact Center Client to fix the problem.

We were able to extract report but not today. The Report status has been in pending status forever.
There are few errors showing in the log files under c:\program files\prairieFyre Software Inc\CCM\Logs
The log fie: WFMService shows the error below:

I have been monitoring the statistic over 2 weeks, the values for jitter buffer underflow is still high (>1000).
the Mitel Cx controller is hosted in the same building as the call centre.
The WAN link is 10mbits/s, the service provider has checked the traffic is fine.

what other things i can look for packets delayed.
I have used wireshark to trace traffic of a phone, which goes to the MBG (mitel border gateway).
So I got a list of UDP packets, and no hint if there is any delay as they are not sequenced.

anyone had jitter problem with VoIP?

Hi,
Our call centre agents are experiencing quite a lot of dropped out.
Having a look the controller, the Voice Quality Statistics shows high Jitter Buffer Under Flow (over 2 thousands) for most records.
All the agents' phones are connected to Mitel Border Gateway. I have restarted MBG but in vain.
I have set Qos and DSCP on the switches. What else can I do to diagnose and fix the problem?

Hi,
After I launched and logged in to UCA, I get an Initialization error:
"Unified Communicator Advanced has failed to connect to the server at xxx.xxx.xxx.
Unified Communicator Advanced will startup in Offline mode. Do you wish to continue?"

But I am able to ping to the server and log in to UCA on another PC with the same login account.

Please advise.

Hi Ralph

I have had a look the ARS route form, a trunk group is assigned to a route number. But there is no route that points to digit dialing.
But I can see on the ARS dial digits form, which contains digits, and route number to it. Do I have to modify on ARS dial Digits form?

On the route digit mod form, I can find an available mod to put in the number of digits to absorb my un-needed digits.

Thanks for the website, still trying to get my head around COR. For our controller, it helps to restrict the national, internal and international calls. Will have a look how it works.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Hunt Group with Call forwarding

Hi,

I have serveral extension numbers in a Hunt Group (terminal), I have tested that one of the phone in the hunt group doesn't forward when it was rang (hunted) but not answered. We will like the call to go to the forwarded call when the person is not at desk and he has turned on the forwarding before leaving office.

1) caller dialed hunt group number
2) the 1st number in the hunt group was busy, so the call went to the second number
3) the person of the second number has left office but turned on forwarding always.
4) the second number kept ringing without forwarding ---we will like this number to be forwarded to the programmed number.

Looks like Hunt group is not able to do that. Any idea to make this work?

Actually it's pretty simple.
Set up routes to each of your systems.  In the digit mod you want to absorb the digits you don't want.  i.e.  if user is dialing 9-1-62341234 (real number?) absorb 7 leaving you only with 234.

Then in ARS point 9162341xxx to <your new route>

Yes, my sites are on private networks. Each site has a 3300 controller, clustered. We have two hundred numbers at each site.
Where do I setup routes?

Hi,
Is there a way I can mask the outgoing call so that the extension is used instead of the full phone numbers.

Example, if the caller dial 62341234 where 234 is the extension, the controller will use 234 instead of 62341234 for this outgoing call.

The reason is, with the full phone number an ISDN call is made and would add cost to the bill.
If extension is used, it is a free call over the network.
