We have been using a SIP phone Dect 112 with RFP 12 Basestation and we always make sure our devices are up to date with firmware. How do I update the firmware on the RFP 12 Base station?

Is there a way to find out if IPV6 is enabled or disabled on different types of mitel server? I want to make sure its disabled.

The only way possible is to get an external device to play the recordings over the PA.  Something like a Viking DNA-510 is what you are looking for.  You put it in as a trunk or analog extension on the system, analog station would be easiest.  As an analog extension you just call the extension and enter the announcement number you want to trigger and it will play over the PA.

Got couple of more question on how it works.

What kind of announcement is going to use, is it the Direct Page or the Loudspeaker Paging?
Once i set it up as an analog line, how do you do the paging? If I call the extension and it starts playing the recorded message and then dial the announcement number. Would it put the analog line on hold and i'll be at the part where I can do the loudspeaker paging?

I'm trying to see if I can setup like an emergency announcement either over the phone using the page group or and external paging device by simply dialing a number. Is that doable on a mitel 3300? Thanks!

Good Day fellas, We have a micollab server where we setup all of our users, we have been renaming users to reassign extension to a new user when a previous one quits. Today I just discovered that even If we edit all the details from users and services form it doesnt update the advanced um email address. Is there a way to generate a report on the Unified Messaging Information for each mailbox. We have renamed already quite a bit of people and I would hate to go to each one to check if there is a different way to do it. Thanks!

Thanks, I had been cleaning any Mitel folders that the client left behind. Upon further testing its not that its blank, its not updating the page. if I resize the window it will show where I can put in the registration key. If I type it wont update the screen and If I resize it again it will show what I have typed. I didn't want to deal with it anymore since its a windows 7 machine and is already a security issue by itself. Reimaged PC to windows 10 problem fixed!  8)

We upgraded our server and is currently upgrading from micollab client 7.3 to 91.3. Other users that I have installed this to works fine except for this one, i cant even get to enter the registration key as the page is blank. Below is the computer specs, run a repair on the .net framework and still not working. Uninstalled cleaned everything in registry, left behind folders and reboot. Install and reboot and still same thing. Users internet speed is 6 MB down and .59 up when i run a speed test. User is working from home and im installing it remotely.

OS - Windows 7 sp1
CPU - intel i5
RAM - 4 GB
HDD - 30 GB Free
.net framework 4.7

Its has NTP settings but all are host name based pre configured, cant add any new ones.

I had setup polycom sound station duo using SIP configuration and I cant seem to get it to pick up the correct date and time. From what I can see it cannot resolve hostnames, so the settings for the NTP are no good since I cant set it manually. Is there a settings im missing. I added manually the DNS server on the Ethernet section.

I cant determine if our BPX is the one having issue or our other sites PBX server. Both are using Mitel 3300 and everytime we received a call from Terminal B that it takes about 3 to 10 time for their calls to go through to Terminal A, I cant seem to replicate the issue. Congestion and State maintenance command dont show that all channels are being used on both server, congestion is showing no fault. And at the time the call is reported we here at Terminal A do a test call by using our internal phone and our cellphone to call the DID the calls being reported and we cant replicate the issue. We did 8 calls simultaneously at the same time and still cant replicate it. Im lost...

The name is correct and the other thing is why do I have to manually change it on prariefyre, doesnt it sync automatically? How can I force it to sync? Thanks!

Im not too familiar with prariefyre but I have an ACD agent whose name has been changed in mitel, and manually changed on prariefyre but on the ccmweb report its still showing the old agent name.

I think i found what i was asking for. I wont do it today since its friday. I'll do it on monday, but looks like i will need to setup a VM Network Server for this to work.
