Thanks for all the info. I appreciate it!

additional info...it's a PKM 48 not a 24..not sure why I flubbed that. Phone model is an 8568

I have a receptionist with 2 PKM 24 units. The second one will go offline and the only way I can get it back online is to remove the attached device and then readd it. Seems to be totally random. It'll go months with no problem and then happen twice in the same day. The first PKM never goes offline, only the 2nd one. Tried swapping them, setting up on another phone, changing the connecting cable, same issue. Any ideas?

Thank you!  I will ask them about it. Not sure they knew to look there. I'm on call processing version 6.0.11.118

So far ATT sees it hitting the router and then the call fails. They can't say why it's ringing back to my attendant. It's still under investigation. Thanks for all the input!

B-channel according to db programming. Is that what you're looking for?

Wanted to run this by a larger audience since both my vendors are stupefied. When making an outbound call, it does not complete, but instead rings to our main attendant. The call is getting recorded by our call recording system which only records outbound calls and not internal calls. When given specific examples, my telecom provider states they do not see these calls hitting the ipflex router whatsoever, yet it has to get as far as the tap so it can get recorded. This is an intermittent issue, not limited to specific extensions, channels on the ipflex or numbers dialed. Anyone ever seen or heard of this?? Both the phone system and the router have been power cycled. We are not even using half our channel capacity when this occurs, so I don't believe it's load related.  Just plain weird :(

I figured it out. I had to add a pause at the end of the CRA recording that offers the choices. The person was using a cell phone and it took them too long to choose an option and by then it had already forwarded to the timeout destination, which was incorrect. Thanks for your input!

That's the strange thing. The Application it transferred to is not the default, it's one setup with a specific time range and when tested, everything works correctly. We have Oaisys call recording and I listened to both calls. The caller chose the option to leave a message for someone, the list plays, they picked one(none of which was where it wound up) and then it got sent to the daytime hunt group....which is not what is set up. I tested it during the same time frame this morning and it behaved correctly...so I was thinking there must have been something going on??  I've made no changes to the application...gremlins perhaps ;)

The avdap log. I had some calls go to an oddball extension via a star app and I'm trying to figure out why! The extension is not one of the choices presented, so I was hoping the log could provide some insight but it only had the current day starting at 7am and my issue was at 4:45 am.

Can anyone tell me how long the logs are kept? I was trying to troubleshoot an issue from 4:30 this morning and the 2 logs available don't go back that far!

Why not have it timeout to a voicemail box and have them change the greeting each day.

It is a 5000 and there are no additional applications. Even my phone system vendor is stumped. I've removed the call recording application from his extension and we have a scheduled reboot this weekend. I'll put it back on Monday and see if the issue reoccurs. Thanks to everyone so far!

No, nothing of the sort.

I have one extension that records every call made as if the record a call application is being activated. I've done no programming to this extension and swapped out the phone set, same result. I just told the user he's got the "over 50" model phone, but would like to know if anyone has any ideas how this might have happened.

Thank you!
