Mitel Software Applications / Re: vMAS not synching with vMCD

Yes acejavelin, I did encounter the java error initially. I contacted Mitel support about this and I was lucky as they sent me a patch for this. Once applied, no more java error and the reconcile wizard run with no issues.

Cheers!

Spot on guys! Run the reconcile wizard a few times and resolved a few database inconsistencies. All good now. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Cheers!

Mitel Software Applications / vMAS not synching with vMCD
« on: May 17, 2017, 12:25:59 AM »
Hi guys,

Site have vMCD running version 14.0.0.97 and vMiCollab 7.3.0.106. We recently upgraded vMAS to MiCollab 7.3.0.106 from version 6.0. The upgrade went OK however we have noticed 1 or 2 things that are not quite working as they did before the upgrade:
- we used to create the users in vMAS and they would sync into vMCD. This is not happening anymore. Even if I force a sync. I can ping the vMCD from the MAS and vice-versa no worries.
- when we create a MiCollab client user and set a password and TUI passcode, the user gets an email with the login ID and password, but not the TUI passcode. On the MAS, Under Configuration - MiCollab settings - Welcome email tab, TUI Passcode tick box is ticked. Not sure why its not sending it out in the email

Has encountered this issue with these versions? I cannot see anything in the release notes - or maybe I missed it!

Cheers!

Thank you Chris! I needed to go back into the client and check the new option under configuration > Calendar integration. Once I did this, all good!

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

I'm not sure how this fixed yours. When i unchecked it on mine, it disabled calendar integration completely (as expected) and anyone who had their micollab client open at the time got a message saying that the calendar integration has been disable by the administrator. Still no appointments showing on client. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Hi Chris,

Have you been able to sort this out? I'm having the same issue after moving to O365. My client is 7.2. What version is your client? Do you use server based calendar integration as well?

Cheers!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Matrix GBR21 GSM gateway

Thanks Sarond. So I got this going finally. However, the users are telling me that every 2nd call is failing. Did my testing and they are correct. When I run CCS tracing, the calls that are failing are not even hitting the controller. This is the same for inbound and outbound calls. Is this an issue with my controller  config or the gateway itself and what should I be looking for

Cheers!

So I've got outgoing calls working. However, incoming calls to working. The caller hears the phone ringing 3 times then cuts off. Physically the phone does not ring at all. Strange thing is that if the phone is off-hook, the caller goes through to voice mail no worries! What do I need to check for these symptoms?

Cheers!

Thanks mate! Yes, its a 3G - 2 channel. I haven't started the programming yet - I'm not entirely sure how to do this yet. So will the gateway be seen as a separate trunk such that I will be able to program ARS?

Cheers!

Hi Guys,

I've been tasked with installing this BRI GSM gateway on a 3300. I will be doing it remotely as the controller is  about 1000 plus kms away from me. The only details I have is that they have plugged in the gateway to the BRI ports on the controller and they have green lights. Does anyone have any experience on this configuration?

Cheers!

Mitel Software Applications / Re: PIM Integration Outlook 2013 64bit
« on: August 10, 2016, 02:33:41 AM »
So, I'm re-visiting this issue again. We have just upgraded to MiCollab 7.2. The client version is 7.2.0.47. "Import Contacts" is greyed out and I cannot add outlook contact location in PIM integration page. I also found out that the site has Mocrosoft office 365 proplus.

Any ideas?

Cheers!

Hi,

Anybody having an issue with this? I have MiCollab client 6.0 and outlook 2013 64bit. When I go to the PIM Integration page, I cannot add the microsoft outlook contact location. The "change" tab is greyed out. I heard that outlook 2016 has an issue wiyh MiCollab 6.0. Does outlook 2013 64bit have the same issue?

Cheers!

Right, this is what I have found out:
- When I do a "LOCATE EXT" from the MEL controller of a Sydney extension, (e.g. Ext 2206) I get this "LOCATE: Invalid or nonexistent extension number or id number." In the Remote Directory numbers form in MEL controller, this extension 2206 is not there. However, there are some Sydney extension numbers in this form e.g. Ext 2214. When I do LOCATE EXT from the MEL controller to ext 2214, "I get The number refers to a remote directory number.Remote DN to CEID 2, routing digits 7772" - which I believe is the expected result. My problems seems to be that not all the Sydney extension numbers are showing up in the RDN form of the MEL controller. On the SYD Controller RDN form, all the MEL extension numbers are there.
- No SDS errors on both controllers.
- ARS checks out OK
- I can ping the ip address in the ICP/PBX form no worries.

It would seem to me that the RDN form on MEL controller has not updated. Any other suggestions?

Cheers!
Steve

How would you route via a third PBX? I don't think I have ever attempted that.

Ok, I've just noticed this - my SHOW XNET ALL results are coming up with 2 established connections to pbx 3 (itself). Is this normal? To route via XNET, do I have to set up IP/XNET trunk profiles? Also, checked the subnet mask and all looks good.

Cheers!
