Ace, just want your opinion on this. I ran into an issue where I could not do a full ftp backup and the customer was asking to have their main number ring the console instead of their auto attendant. I can see the mailboxes in form 50, and they were rebooting the system prior to my arrival.

I am think that the CF is corrupt, My thought was to get a new flash and put it in my MX controller for the software install with a blank database. Get a prinout of form 50 prior to replacing it. Replace and restore from a kermit backup.

Any thoughts would be helpful...Such as a generic CF replacement that works

Can anyone let met konw what the last version was, got Q46.0.9 but have no magicrom above that. I have the ability to flash cards, just want to put the last on to avoid issues

Mitel Software Applications / Sip adaptation

Anyone any good with this? I have a site that has a qsig connection to a third party phone system and they want to show the 4 digit extension internally but outbound to have a full 10 digit caller id value. This involves only 4 numbers, and currently they get denied when trying an outbound call. I did try to add one of these numbers as a DID replacement under the sip peer but it looked to make no difference, hence this post

I inherited a site that was installed with a .local domain. This customer is currently using the 7.3 client but wants to get external/mobile applications working. Just seeing if anyone know if I change to a true FQDN and add the .local as a second domain, whtehr the 7.3 clients will function without having to modify their settings. This would only be internal until moved to new client

Just an fyi, did this with a batch script on a customer to remove the mailboxes form the extensions that should not get one. All were imported to give them a mailbox. I created the batch file that seemed to fail, i.e. adelete m1= XXXX. After this failure I changed it to adelete m1=xxxx  m2=XXXX

This deleted every mailbox beyond may initiial starting point. Yes I was screwed. Found that a trailing (space) in the batch was needed.

I hope this helps someone in the future, as I am hosed. Did the python association and still see nothing for extension under Nupoint in users and services

I've been working on this to get familiar, I have an issue where the direct page of a page group isn't working although it is allowed in the cos of the sip peer, and I can manually invoke this using the same dial string. PBX is sending a 406 message.

Anyone tried this and have it working? BTW, Mitel Tech Tracker isn't working today

Trying to set this up, but the help file link doesn't work. I have got the Postgres installed on the same server and I show connected but not getting any data after my test calls. Anyone done this recently? Or do you have a copy of the file(s) the link would have downloaded? 64 bit for this site

I have this site that has an analog polycom phone they use to call places like Zoom and Webex. I just started looking into this issue and my first tests show calls to these on a Comcast sip trunk results in the user hearing beeps. I set this to dial out through the customers AT&T sip trunks and expected audio is heard. I also can place calls to these sites via a teleworker 6900 phone and hear correct audio response.

Just want to know if anyone has dealt with a similar issue so as to eliminate some testing time

Have a new site going in with several AX controllers, all running the latest v8 software. I have all anaog sets with a descriptor that has message waiting lamp enabled. Customer has a NEC system and from what I see, the MWI should be compatible i.e. high DC voltage. Yes I am experiencing an issue, system says light should be liy but set doesn't indicate such. I don't think I am missing anything in the programming, had a coworker on site with a meter and he saw no voltage change.

Anyone doing MotelHotel with AX and lighting lights on the latest v&?

Changed a sever from server gateway mode to lan and after there was no default gateway route. I manually added it and have a ticket with Mitel that hasn't had a response for almost a week. Anyone know a command to make sure this might survive a reboot?

My current setup is a MiCollab and a MBG proxy. MiCollab cannot send directly to external smtp or ssmtp server. I have it using the MBG which can authenticate to the remote ssmpt server. That being said, welcome emails from MiCollab go out without issue since you can set the sender. It seems that Nupoint is being rejected and my thought was due to the from address. I did change it to use the server email setting instead of nupoint default, but I think since this doesn't have any user info in the standard port 25 smpt something mught be missing and cuasing the reject. Has anyone tried adding login info to a similar scenario? I was wondering if the MBG would ignore or just pass this info on

I have a customer such that I am certain that their data vendor has not setup TLS access correctly. I can sync with AD unsecure, but not any further. Does anyone know good command line entries to isolate issue? Or, another application to run to show proof?
