Hi all,

Is the old Mitel MiCollab Mobile Client still available for iphone? (The one with the grey icon)

I can't seem to find it in the App Store.

The reason I ask is that you can set the SIP Softphone manually where as you can't with the new client.
I have already set the softphone in MiCollab as a Softphone on the Windows MiCollab client as they have no deskphones.
I have then set the Deskphone as a SIP device and can use it but it doesn't integrate into the new Mobile client as it is set as a deskphone.

Does this make sense?

Hi All,

Has anyone ever had a MiCollab Server in Server-Gateway mode using 1:1 NAT for the WAN connection?

We have a client that purchased MiVBX with standard UCC licensing. Initially there was no need for remote services like Teleworking and MiCollab mobile client.
Now that they have seen and used some of the features like AWC via VPN they are keen to start using it for clients.

They have applied for additional public IP addresses and now have them.
The way it has been setup is as a 1:1 NAT so public IP is not directly attached to the MiVBX.
They also want to restrict the ports to the server so I assume I can get those from the Engineering Guidelines.

Is it possible to use a custom network profile in the MBG to have this work?
Should I just get sales to sell them a separate MBG in DMZ? (I'd like to avoid this if possible)

Also with AWC what is the second ip address for? How is it use

I don't deal with the apps very often so you might have to talk slow :)

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / SSH v6.2 remote network

Hi all,

Has anyone tried to SSH into a new 6.2 system from anywhere other than the local network?

I used to be able to connect via a routed network on a different subnet or via port forward and connect over the internet.

It seems if I'm not on the same subnet, putty just hangs with a blank screen and doesn't prompt for a login, the connection doesn't timeout or reject the connection either.

There are no firewall rules enabled on the MiVO250.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Firefox with MCD 7.1

Hi guys,

I have just upgraded a site from MCD 7.0 to MCD 7.1PR1.
Previously I could use Firefox no problem but now only IE works.
Firefox gives a 'Secure Connection Failed' error.
I have tried clearing cookies/cache but still no luck, I have also tried another PC.

Has anyone else tried Firefox successfully with MCD 7.1?

I am after the SIP Trunks Authentication in particular but would also be handy for the Maintenance Accounts.

Hi All,

I have no experience with the Avaya IP Office and I can't find any documents on MOL for SIP trunking to Avaya IPO.
Is it possible to connect the 3300 to the Avaya IPO via SIP trunks? I have a proposal that I need to get together and there is an IPO involved that I can't replace.
Just need to know if is possible at this stage and if there any gotchas or limitations.

Hi guys,

I know enough about Prairiefyre to install and configure but not the ins and outs.

I have a client that has 2 clusters and 1(one) CCM Server. I can sync and create Employees/Agents etc... to both clusters so as far as I'm concerned everything is working ok. Now my issue. There is a supervisor at each site that want to report and manage their own agents and queues. I have created a security list for each site and then a security role to only allow managing the site from the security list. The supervisor will use YSE to manage their own site. I have assigned the security role to the supervisor  but it still allows them to see everything associated on both sites, I don't want to confuse the supervisors or have them modify/delete things for another site by accident.

Is it possible to restrict what an employee/supervisor can manage and view in YSE?

Mitel Software Applications / vMAS 4.0SP2 NuPoint - Low Volume

Hi Guys,

First of all I don't have extensive experience with NuPoint.
I have recently install a vMAS server and have noticed that NuPoint is a little on the quiet side when I call the voicemail system.
Is there a way to increase the volume levels? I have had a look in the Web GUI as well as the CLI console but can't find anything obvious.
