Having an issue with analog lines unable to dial outbound to any internal or external numbers.
Calls to the analog device are successful and able to be answered.

COR is correct.
Behavior is the same on 2 universal ASU's and embedded.

This system is located in Singapore and should be configured similar to UK analogs.

Country location is UK in Licenses and options form.  Did a database restore to rule out any type of DB corruption.

Any ideas?

Mitel Software Applications / MSL licensing to AMC

I have an interesting issue- MSL version 10.5-15.0 was using a local proxy to sync to AMC.
The MSL is located in France, the proxy in UK.
Trying to reinstall MBG SW blade on failure gives me an export error- AMC support said it is because the proxy is in a different country and this created the export issue.

Tried to clear the proxy configuration so I can license the server directly and MSL insists on still using the proxy config.
SSH into the server, NSlookup of sync.mitel-amc.com and register.mitel-amc.com resolve correctly to the internet address.

Tried clearing the DNS cache, rebooting, nothing will stop this machine from using the proxy.
No active SWA on the system so I cannot contact support.
Any ideas?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Name Tag huntgroup

Can someone she some light on name tag hunt groups?

I need to have a UK DID number forwarded on-net to a Mitel PBX in France but I do not want the originating caller ID to appear.

I created a name tag huntgroup on UK PBX and set to call forward to any extension. When the call is forwarded it displays the originating external callers ID.
I prefer it to display the name tag hunt group teldir name  *BUSINESS*NAME*

I also tried to forward the name tag hunt group to nupoint call director flow in France- the mailbox answers and the call flow works, but the same result on txfr calls the originating external caller ID is displayed.

The point of this exercise is to create a dedicated customer support number for a client. It will ring to call director for scheduling purposes and transfer to either ext/ring group/hunt group during business hours and a voicemail box after hours.

Maybe COS or FCOS option that I am missing??

Mitel Software Applications / Goodbye NUPM advanced UM M365

Oauth2 will be putting standalone NUPM adv UM to rest soon enough. The Microsoft deadline is fast approaching for basic auth permanent disablement.
Does anyone know of any Oauth2 proxy or a way to keep this alive without having to upgrade??
Is there some kind of patch available? Something? Anything?

So here is a scenario- I'd like to establish a number that people can call anonymously. I've toyed with ringing one line, that forwards as an external call, with CPN substition, to another DID. I cannot get consistent results with this. Sometimes I see no number, but I do see name...has anyone ever configured something like this? Consider an anonymous crime tip line.

Anyone come across this yet? Source call international to a DID that is forwarded to a mobile phone- the caller hears busy tone.
Troubleshooting with the carrier ( Centurylink) they tell me that the originating caller ID, an international number, is going out as "Unknown" and it must show as INTL.
I checked the ISDN protocol(NI2) and Enable Unknown TON/NP is "false".  If I enable Unknown TON/NP and replace external CLID "true" the call forwards work but they show the caller ID of the forwarded stations. Centurylink NOC told me that this is due to spam filtering and all of the security bits that the mobile providers are putting in place on their network- the original CLID contains more digits than a National number, but it is showing as Unknown, EDT trace confirms 11 digit number(masked). What am I missing here?? Why is the number type not Int? Isn't this built into the protocol or something that I have to modify? The only place that I recall to modify this is on E1 configured links.  Scratching my head.

I've been working on creating a twinning scenario with Skype enterprise voice and everything is working great except for cloud voicemail. The PRG includes the Mitel deskphone and EHDU with the Skype ext(routed over SIP trunk). The personal ring group seems to be an attended feature and it is not happy when the skype cloud voicemail timer expires and cloud voicemail takes the call. The voicemail does work, but I believe that there is no acknowledged disconnect to the Mitel. After the recorded message, there is about 1 minute of dial tone included with the message. Does anyone know of an option/setting that can be changed or another better way to approach this?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Issue with MWI lamps

Running MiVoice Business 8.0 SP3 PR2(clustered) on ISS with Virtual Nupoint Build: 18.3.0.105.01

Just started having issue with MWI lamps. PBX continuously logs the following:

Source      Call Control - Software

Mitel support has only suggested PBX reboot so far.  I have rebooted the ISS and the Virtual Nupoint. MWI lamps will work for a short time, then stop. Running lights test from Nupoint, I am able to light my lamp but not turn it off. Restart Nupoint service by entering offlin config mode and activating, MWI lamps will work again. They will begin to fail in a few hours. Has anyone seen this behavior? I wish their logs were more friendly.

Anyone have any workarounds for this? We are migrating to O365 and Adv UM no longer working for cloud users, as expected.
I don't see any option, aside from IMAP, in the Nupoint. Unfortunately, due to security concerns, IMAP will NOT be allowed.

Does anyone know of a "proxy" like MAPI Gateway that we can sit in between Nupoint and O365?

I found something called DavMail, but I am not sure that will meet the requirements. I sure wish Mitel would have developed MAPI GW to connect to O365.
Seems the only option is to migrate to MiCollab Adv Messaging and I'd rather not. MiVB is also not certified with O365 cloud voicemail.....Mitel is really tying my hands here. If i have to invest in migrations, the money will probably be better spent as a rip and replace to Skype or Teams.

SIP On Mitel / Mitel Skype 4B Direct SIP integration

Has anyone done this and run into options request errors on skype mediation server?
The trunk shuts down on the Skype side after receiving no response from Mitel to SIP options requests.
This is Skype 2019 with MiVoice business 8. I've used the Skype 2015/MCD 7 integration guide as a starting point, and I wonder if there is something new in the SIP peer profile that needs to be set in MiVoice business 8.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MiVB 8 night 2 not rerouting

Has anyone found any issue with reroute on night 2 since upgrading to MiVB 8? I have one site that uses night 2 and it worked prior to the upgrade.
They use night 1 to reroute main line to a ring group, night 2 to voicemail. Calls ring open now when in night 2. I did a ccs trace and I see  the inbound call appears to be routed to the DN of the VM huntgroup pilot, I even see one of the VM ports in the trace, but it never actually answers.

Mitel Software Applications / Virtual Nupoint upgrade

Has anyone run into a virtual Nupoint upgrade that had any issue? This is the second one I am doing, the first went fine and the second...rings busy. I did an MSL restore from another server, so all configuration should be identical. The restore process takes the IP of the running server and then shuts down the running server. I see apoint during the restore where it states restoring NPM database, is it still required to do the NPM restore after MSL? That is the only thing that I did differently with the first one. The first one had no issue after doing this- seems to be the process outlined in the THB. *Note- I also attempted to restore the NPM on the second upgrade, but it still rings busy. What am I missing??

MiCollab client version 8.1.52(build 37)

Tried toggling the allow access contacts in iOS MiCollab settings both on and off.
No luck.

SIP On Mitel / 6867i Config files

Does anyone happen to have config files for the 6867i phones? I have them working on MiVoice business, for the most part- LDAP directory sync is working to AD, but I cannot modify the attribute mapping. I want to change the default number of the contact, when searched, to business 2 which is the internal short number. Just wondering if anyone had any luck with using these "generic" SIP phones on MiVB 8.
