MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / DND Working for Internal but not External

Hello

User is in DND, internal calls to their extn show DND, external calls to their DDI still ring through as normal. Checked the System Forwarding Paths and all is well.

I'm stumped why this could be happening, a bug in their particular version of firmware? 6.3.6.21??

Anyone else had this?

Hello

Anyone ever networked a 250 via SIP Trunks to anything else?

We have a shopping centre trying to connect a Paging system to their 250 and we aren't getting very far, the paging system needs to connect to a SIP trunk. Configured up a SIP Trunk group on the 250 tried all sorts of ways with the usernames, password, etc and the 250 just keeps on sending 403s to the paging system whenever it tries to register.

Tried tresting it with another phone system networking it to our 250 in the office and get the same results.

Is it even possible?

Hello

Does the Mitel FTP Site still exist, got a new 250 running the newest software available from the Mitel Web site doing some strange things with the SIP Trunks.

Wondering if there was a newer firmware than 6.3 SP5 available?

Some old credentials I can find from a previous Account Manager don't seem to work :(

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Reboot due to "Code Change"

Anyone had reboots caused by a "Code Change" recently, I thought they were a thing of the past!

Got a 6.2 SP2 PR5 doing it monthly ish, sending it over to Mitel TS at the minute but was curious to see if anyone else has had it recently?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Why does my Switch hate my 250?

New install went in last week, 250 with 40 Handsets on a Netgear GS752TP doing the switching and POE.

Seemed ok at first then on go live day phones started showing "No Bandwidth for Voice" and the Message Print showed phones constantly disconnecting and re-connecting.

Pinging the 250 showed about 12 Pings received <1MS then three pings lost, pretty much spot on every time.

Changed ports, changed 250 chassis, changed leads, changed IP, nothing fixed it.

If I slave a little switch off the main Netgear and plug the 250 into it the problem nearly goes away, good pings, maybe lose 1 to every 30-40. But I get poor voice quality inbound, as in I sound good to callers but they sound slightly off to me, lost packets i'm guessing.

Anyone had anything similar and fixed it?

You may have heard a bit about CloudLink, our new cloud delivery platform that we are bringing on line this year. The CloudLink platform is the method through which we will be bringing to market a variety of new cloud applications.

We are getting ready to launch our very first CloudLink application, Mitel OfficeLink, later this quarter. In the first release, Mitel OfficeLink will be available for MiVO-250's in North America. More details will be shared in the coming weeks.

When you sell Mitel OfficeLink to a customer and you onboard them, you'll be using your Mitel Connect credentials as part of that onboard process. We'll be sharing lots more information in an upcoming product bulletin, webinars, and on-line documentation.

Got a newly installed system with a BRM-2, won't come online, logs say:

Found another BRM-2 of unknown vintage in a colleagues van that is doing exactly the same thing.

SLM4 work in the same slots.

Anyone seen this before and was it the mainboard on the chassis or software?

What's New in this Release?
Release 6.3
This section briefly describes the new features, hardware, and enhancements available on the MiVoice Office 250 when equipped with the v6.3 software release.

Support of 6900 SIP phones with MiVoice Office Application Suite 5.1
Mitel 6920, 6930 and 6940 SIP Phones are supported in conjunction with MiVO AppSuite 5.1. For further information, refer to the MiVoice AppSuite 5.1 documentation.

The MiVoice Office 250 R6.3 supports additional SIP extension and trunk features, handset flags, and security improvements.

Divert/Accept UCD Calls, when using SIP devices
SIP devices now support the Hunt Group Remove/Replace feature. Incoming calls to Hunt Groups containing SIP devices can be diverted by using the feature code (322 HG Remove, 323 HG Replace, 324 Toggle HG Remove/Replace).

SIP Reverse Transfer
Calls on hold or ringing at a SIP device can now be picked-up (Reverse Transfer).

Direct Page
Direct Page is an enhancement to the existing Page feature, which allows you to page to the loudspeaker of an individual IP/ Digital Phone instead of a whole Paging Zone.

To configure an IP/ Digital Phone as a destination for Direct Page the phone must be assigned to a Paging Zone, which has the Use zone for Direct Page option enabled (This is disabled by default).

A Direct Page is then activated by dialing 7 (Default Feature Code for Paging), followed by the configured Paging Zone, and then the extension number of the phone you want to Direct Page.

Direct Page can only be activated by Phones that have the Initiate Direct Page flag set to Yes.

Analog and SIP phones cannot receive a Direct Page, but can initiate a Direct Page to an IP/ Digital Phone.

Flexible SIP Header Configuration to SIP Trunk Provider
There are new fields available in the SIP Trunk Group configuration that allows to define which Caller ID information is sent to the SIP provider.

Restricted CLI in SIP Header
The caller identification can be withheld within the SIP header.

Display only Caller Identification instead of Transfer Information
A new Phone flag allows you to suppress transfer information and instead display caller identification and name when the incoming call is ringing.

Alternate Lamp Indication on Phone/ PKM Keys
A new system flag allows you to change the default lamp indications.

Release Key
The Release Key can be assigned to any programmable key (including PKM) and allows you to release a call in progress.

Notification of no Primary or Local Attendant Configured
The Primary or local Attendant is important to system behavior. When a user unintentionally removes these from the Database configuration, a warning message appears.

SSL Certificate
You can generate a Certificate Signing Request (CSR) and then upload/ import a customer’s own Certificate.

Security Updates
New OpenSSL version 1.0.2l

Improvements have been made to the existing Firewall, including the ability to save and restore settings. Firewall configuration options have been extended to include the PS-1.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Yealink W52p SIP Dect on Office 250

Hello

Has anyone got the Yealink W52p SIP DECTs working on the office 250?

I've done all sorts of other stuff, Polycom, Panasonic, Konftel and they all just work. Can't get this Yealink to work at all, keep getting 401 Unauthorised in the SIP Logs.

If I configure up X-Lite on my laptop with exactly the same details it works fine, so there's something i'm missing in the Yealink setup but I can't find it!

There's no How To on the MKB either  :(

Anyone installed the server element of MiContact Centre Office / CSM on Windows 10 Pro yet?

I know it's not listed as supported, 8.1 Pro is the newest but not supported doesn't mean it doesn't work right? :)

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Multicall Keys

Is there a command that will tell you which phones have a Multicall Key programmed for a particular DDI

A customer has asked me which phones ring out of the 90 or so handsets and I don't fancy going through the key programming of every single one!

It's a 3300 SW Version 8

Hello

Prospective customer wants to press a button and send a particular DDI when dialling out, he has multiple companies and wants to send the correct corresponding number when dialling out.

The system is around 2 years old so I'm guessing MCD 5 or 6.

We are going to be adding SIP trunks replacing his ISDN2e when he moves.

Hello

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this issue as I can't remember seeing it in the fixed lists for firmware releases.

V5.1
Hunt Group ringing a Hunt Group Member list including a Mitel 5312 and a Panasonic KXTGP600 SIP DECT.
Call rings both phones but you can't answer on the Pana DECT, answers fine on the 5312.
If you put the Pana DECT in the group on it's own you can answer fine.

I haven't looked into this too deeply as the customer actually prefers them ringing in order but it's just the curious bit of me wondering if anyone else has seen this??

Hello

Could anyone tell me the best way to achieve the following:

An internal or DDI call is delivered directly to extn 1000
1000 doesn't answer after a predetermined amount of rings
Call bounces to 1001 then 1002 then 1003
If still unanswered it reverts to Extn 1000 VM

3300 MXE Running Release 8
