MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 69xx phone on a Mivoice 250 system

Installed a single 69xx phone on a 250 and got most things to work. However calls transferred to the extension will not follow system forwarding. The call recalls back to the phone that transferred the call. The recall timer is set to 30 seconds and forward initiate timer is set to 15 seconds. The flag system forwarding is set to yes, there is an associated mailbox. I don't know what else would affect this?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / can't open a DB programming session

When attempting to open a DB programming session I'm getting this error. It's a new on me.

Unable to start the DB programming session (HRESULT=0x80040154):
FACILITY_ITF - This error is interface specific. No further information is available.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / loop start lines won't release

This customer switched providers recently and now I have a problem with calls not releasing properly. If the call is on hold and the outside caller hangs up, the call will not release. I have gone round and round with the provider and can't seem to get them to understand how this is supposed to work. Should get open loop (Positive disconnect) for 350 milliseconds.
I monitored the trunk to see what happens. When the caller hangs up I get a busy tone for about 5 seconds then silence for a couple of seconds then dialtone for about 20 seconds and back to reorder. I think this is considered CPC. Is there some setup in the 250 system that will respond to this?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / CS to HX controller upgrade

I'm upgrading a CS controller to an HX controller. The CS controller has a 2GB flash and is running 6.2.x software. Can I take the Flash out of the CS controller and put it  in the HX controller and boot it up?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / 112 handset will not register to the base

I have a 112 dect system that has been working with a 250 system. The customer lost or broke the original handset and I'm adding a couple of new handsets. I cannot get the handsets to register to the base. I have the new handset programmed and set the IPIE for the handsets. I put the handsets in register mode and ticked both handsets in the Extension screen and click on the "register handsets" button. The handset will not register

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / PIN replacement code

How do you use the ### PIN replacement code? I have tried using it at the "enter pin and press hold" prompt that a new phone get's when first booting up. I have tried using it as a feature code, pressing the feature key and entering ### but that fails.

It would be handy if I could de-register a broken phone and register the new phone and not have to get into programming to clear the MAC on an extension.

I have an HX controller with 6.3.x software version and all CatD licenses. Will an 86xx phone work on this?

the problem is that there is no Caller ID displayed on incoming calls. All calls go to voicemail auto attendant. In this scenario the call goes to a 5340 IP phone.
The caller dials an extension while listening to the greeting. The call rings the phone and while the phone is ringing, the extension number of the voicemail port that is transferring the call, is displayed. When answered, the display shows either the phone number of the caller or the name of the caller. Depends on whether COS option 503 is enabled or not. If the person answers the call and transfers the call to another 5340 phone the name and number are both displayed while ringing and after answered.

Why isn't the name and number displayed when the call is transferred from the auto attendant? I verified that COS options 502 and 613 are enabled on the COS for the voicemail ports and the extension being transferred to.

MX Controller with software ver 5.x Calls coming in on trunk ports on the MX Controller show caller ID Name and if I disable COS option 503 the number will show in the display. Not both at the same time. Superset 420, 430 and 5312, 5340 IP phones.
Can I get both name and number to show on the display? Customer insists they could see both up until recently.

The alarm has come up twice now in about a month. I found a post on another site and the suggestion was to delete the application and reprogram. Has anyone else had this problem and did delete/reprogram solve it?

I found some posts from last year on this subject. Those posts were concerning ver 6.0 and Axxess. Sounds like for the most part it works fine.

Does anyone have more recent experience? I'm upgrading from 5.1 to 6.2.5.80 on the 5000 system and running ver 11.x on the Axxess.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Voicemail directory trans to mailbox

When using the voicemail directory...The voicemail transfers the call to the phone and then system forwarding settings send it back to the mailbox. Is there a system wide setting that will send the call directly to the mailbox?

I recently installed a small MiVoice 250. I was checking the PSTN call records and there are no records for Saturday and Sunday. The dates are missing. There are call records for today and last week. If there are no calls on a day does the system just not log it? version 6.2.5.80
Has anyone else noticed this?

I have a phone that is in a keymap all by itself. The Call Key 1 button is flashing as if it is in use. When I delete the call key in the map the flashing moves to the next call key. I removed all the call keys and then readded and the flashing is back on Call Key 1. Any idea what would cause that call key to flash?
