I need some advice on a customer requirement.

When callers try and reach a user, they should hear different greetings for the user's CFNR and CFB settings. But the setting should allow callers to leave a voice message on the user's own voicemail box in both scenarios. (CFNR and CFB)

Is there a way to fulfill this? Especially without complicating things?

Question for the MiVO Office 400 admins and users, how do you facilitate a requirement from customers who want their users to dial IDD using a PIN code?

What we usually do is create an abbreviated number for each real user and give them that as their "IDD PIN code". But in reality, it is remote control using a virtual user with IDD access.
-Real user 200 is only allowed for local calls
-Virtual user 300 has IDD access. PIN 1234
-Exchange access = 9
-Create ABB 7000 = #363001234
-Assign user 200 with IDD PIN 7000 for dialling IDD.
-User 200 dials 7000 9 <IDD No.>
-Call logging will show 300 made the call which will be traced back to user 200.

I have an MIR (ASC) server where MBG SRC recording already works. I am trying Active Device Recording and have followed the ASC documentation for CSTA3 with MX-ONE for this. On the phones, I've set the recorder address using the config file as per the doc. I can see the call info in MIR's PowerplayWeb, but the audio stream is missing. If my understanding is correct, the recorder will send SIP messages to instruct the phones to send it a duplicate RTP stream during a call.

In traces from both recorder side and phone side, there doesn't seem to be any communication between them.

Does anyone have experience with this type of recording with MIR or even the old MCR where the phone sends the duplicate to the recording server directly? I am just looking for ideas on what else to check and look at. Thanks.

Hi all,

I am looking for a website or reference that lists/has details of the differences in the E1 standard among countries. Like I am looking to compare the E1 standard from one country vs another.
Just trying to see if anyone can point me to the right direction.

I saw a screenshot of MOMA from YouTube that showed "merge" as one option in the call screen. I assume it was to combine calls to a conference call.

However, our MOMA client (with MiVO400) doesn't have this and can only swap between two calls made. Can anyone confirm if MOMA or MOWA can make conference calls?

Q1. For anyone who has experience with the Cloudlink Gateway linked to a PBX, do you know how to unlink it from a customer in the Cloudlink Gateway Portal?

I was testing MOMA with MiVo 400 and had to shift the connection of our embedded Cloudlink Gateway to another Customer in my testing. The set-up works but the old Customer it was linked to shows "lost connection to gateway".

I can't delete the old customer because it is used for CloudLink chat (MiCollab) with another system.

Q2. Another thing, what is the way to restore the embedded (SMBC) Cloudlink gateway to factory default? The guide only says restart the service which doesn't factory default it. I had to manually remove the Cloudlink SMBC app and reinstall it. (A stand alone Cloudlink gateway has the factory default option)

Hi all,

I just want to check with anyone using a 6940 or 6930 on the MiVoice Office 400: If you set-up mobilelink on a button and connect your mobile phone, are you able to browse the mobile contacts list via the directory button?

I can do it when the 6940 is registered to MX-ONE but not when I use it on the O400.  Calls work, inlcuding pushing to and from the mobile phone and the 6940, just not the directory even if I have given access to contacts. I've tried on two 6940s, a 6930 and used both an Android and iOS phone. I still can't see the mobile contacts when the 6940/6930 is on the Office 400.

Regards.

Hi all,

Re: VoIP Security

I understand that the "Secure VoIP" license is required for SRTP (media/RTP encryption). But is this license also required to activate just Persistent TLS on the terminals? My understanding is it is not needed for TLS but I need confirmation.

I am currently testing with mixed results.

In system1, as soon as I change the transport protocol for (say) a 6867i Mitel SIP Phone from TCP to Persistent TLS, the terminal restarts as per normal. After the restart, the terminal screen looks normal and as if it is registered.  But it actually isn't and the LCD screen changes to "No Service" once you seize Line1 for example. It also cannot be called. This system does not have the Secure VoIP license.

I have system2 encountering the same issue when changing to Persistent TLS. System2 has the Secure VoIP license.

I have system3 with the Secure VoIP license and I can switch the protocol to UDP/TCP<--->Persistent TLS with no issue.

I hope to hear your inputs.

Hi All,

Just looking for ideas or in case anyone is already doing this. The MiVo 400 can only send the call logging (charges) information to one IP destination and port. But we are testing call (voice) recorder via ISDN recording that also needs the call log information for the extension number, dialled number, etc. Is there any application that we can use as sort of a proxy to receive the PC5 data, then for it to send to both the call accounting server and also the voice recorder? Or is there another way of being able to send to two IP destinations?
