I cant seem to find the process to add the telephone directory form our MI-VB to micollab so that all is visible under contacts in the users micollab desktop client

Any help appreciated

Hi

Has anyone setup VM to email using a 3300 and a Simple MSL as SMTP relay with Office 365

I have 3300 setup with ip of MSL in email server and email address of a test user as the send address

In MSL  i have the office 365 smtp address and the same email address and password added to this one using port 587

I also have the Network of the 3300 in trusted networks and SMTP email injection rest set to Accept only from trusted networks

I have the MSL in the network elements of the 3300 also.

But it still doesnt work any ideas or help appreciated.

Having trouble setting this up keep getting Failed to Contact server

I have the right username the details i have been given are the DC primary and secondary and i can ping these using root console can it be a distgin uished name issue

my login is john.smith
OU = External Contacts
OC= Users
Dc= Fake.local

What would the distinguished name be?

currently mine is

Domain = fake.local
Distinguished name = cn=john smith,cn=external contacts,cn=users,cn=sites,dc=fake,dc=local

Mitel Software Applications / Micollab Softphone cant make calls to other softphones

Hi

I have install micollab and configured micollab client on 2 mobiles these mobiles show soft phone connected and can call the teleworker phone and other internal extensions but can call other soft phone numbers i can chat between using the text based but cant connect a call.
I have run a Packet trace and keep seeing rejected REJECTED in the SIP flow.

Each of these mobiles can use there soft phones to call other extensions im at a lose. 

Any Ideas welcome

Just a quick question, can you perform video conference on Mobiles and through the web client?

I have set up AWC but can only seem to connect to video via the Windows client.

Is it correct to assume that if i have 2 of these setup with IP Cameras and screens within a cluster of MiVB that they will video call each other and do not need any other software ie Micollab

Is there a way with the embedded vm that once a user has left a voicemail that there is a option to go back to the main menu - with a view for that user to contact another department and leave another voicemail and so on , This is a question from a company with has multiple departments and auto attend and voicemail activates when Out of Office and busy is on.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel 3300 Voicemail to email

Hi

A customer of ours uses voicemail to email feature on the embedded system on there Mi-voice Business.  They have commented that on the weekend of the system patching where there is server downtime of roughly 2 hours that the they have missed voicemail.  Anybody know if the mitel just drops these voicemail if it cant reach the smtp server first time or if there is a timeout period.  As this could be quote costly for this customer if they are getting lost.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Restore newer Backup to Older Software

I have a customer with a corrupted database, i have asked for the latest backup.  They have purchased a new mitel which has come with newer slightly older software

current 13.2.1.17
New Mitel 13.2.0.17

DO i need to upgrade new mitel to same version or will restore work as is.

Mitel Software Applications / Upgrade from teleworker 4.5.52 to mbg 9.1

Hi

I need assistance in upgrading a Mitel teleworker solution 4.5.52 to the latest mbg.  Can this be done.  I cant see any tab for backup on the server manager.

Is there a direct upgrade path or do i need to do a full reinstall and just copy setting across.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel 5624 DND not working

Hi

We have programmed the correct shortcodes in the programmer and it talks to the  3300 and we can see on the 3300 that the DND is on or off for the extension but when you dial the 5624 ext it still rings.  Other call services do work like Call pickup.  And all other users have same COS and all can use the DND buttons or feature code and it works fine

Any ideas what we are doing wrong,

I have setup a Auto attendant a while back at a customer and with the new business scheduler coming in my question is can you set the different open message and closed message on each menu mailbox or just on the main one or both and if so do you login as admin or just into the mailbox itself to perform this.
