This sounds like Early Offer is not being used on the trunk. Does the carrier support Early Offer? A packet capture of the incoming call to the controller would probably provide the answers.

Ideally this should be locked down to only trusted networks inside of the network, only to very specific IP addresses on the outside (like your VAR)
What happens if you try a TNA test from the WiFi network to your public IP address, does it pass.

Make sure that you have an NTP reference configured, and that the system is in sync. It should be a reasonably high stratum, preferably 4 or greater.

FYI - with MiVB 9 this is native to the system and can be configured through caller based routing.

What does the Meraki dashboard show as happening when they reboot? It should give a pretty good indication if it is the switch/switchport that is going down, or the handset.

The MiCollab appliance comes pre-packaged and does not require you to select an OS.
It is delivered as a complete OVA file, with the OS and applications pre-loaded in to it. All that is needed to do is deploy the VM in to your environment. VMTools support is already included as well.
In the background it does run SME server, which is based on CentOS.

The new MiCollab client (nextgen client) has the same look and feel as the newer mobile client.
At the moment there isn't feature parity between the old and the new client, so by default the link to the new client is not published in the deployment e-mail and has to be manually added.

I'd set a continuous wireshark trace running on the MBG with it splitting the files in to a reasonable size, and then get users to report when they have issues, and what number they are calling to. From there you can grab the trace and analyse the call to see what's being/not being negotiated.

Do you use MiCollab Client? My general response when these questions come up is usually that the functionality is there, and better with MiCollab.

Haven't tried in a while, last time was about a year ago on a MiVBX install and could never get it to work right because it wouldn't let me configure everything in option 125, kept getting some kind of error, but I keep an old copy of MSL around just to fire it up for DHCP sometimes.Have you got screenshots of the issues? I've never had a problem with 125, and in some ways the MSL DHCP is quicker and easier than the MiVB DHCP on a physical controller.

You really need a separate DHCP server (usually a new scope in an existing one).What issues have you had with the MSL based DHCP? I use it all the time and it functions just fine as a DHCP server.

Make sure you create all DNS records before running the initialisation wizard, as it will bomb out with a random error that doesn't indicate DNS issues.
