That's great, cheers for that Dogbreath. I've been playing around with the SNMP stuff, so i'll see if I can drill down some more!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MBG double registration
« on: February 26, 2018, 09:34:36 AM »
Hi all,

I have an issue where I register a SIP Konftel unit to an MBG in the customer's office space. Then when I move the device to where it's meant to be in the conference room, it gets a new IP address via DHCP and registers again to the MBG. BUT, it still thinks the old registration is there (on the MBG), so I have 2 registrations with 2 different IP addresses on the same number. Therefore I get one way speech as it sends the speech to the old IP address with nothing on the end of it.

I have checked all registration timers etc on the Konftel and MBG.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 69xx with Integrated DECT headset

Information post really.

I had a customer that had to use 4 port PoE switches under their desks as they did not have enough outlets in the building. They had 6930 phones with the integrated DECT headset. They had lots of voice issues and phones would randomly stop responding etc. It turns out that with the integrated DECT headset the device needs PoE+ (802.3at), replaced the switches with PoE+ and all good!

Cheers,

Thabks for the reply. This is my first fan replacement, I was hoping it will be labelled somewhere inside, but no documentation states what fan is what!

Are the phones getting "out of service" on the handset? Or when they try to dial out?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Users and Services CSV import

Hi all,

Going through an exercise in making users resilient and wondered if I imported the spread sheet with hotdesk users logged in still, would it throw up faults and i'd have to log them out?

Cheers in advance

Sorted the issue. I changed the keep alive options to "always" instead of "behind NAT only" and it drops the connection fine

Thanks dilkie, i'll take a gander at the logs and see what's occurring
