I was just looking for some magic trick to make the caller's name show if it's available in addition to the phone number. And yes, I am certified on MiV 250.

Now I feel dumb. I cleared the description of the + and E in my CRT's and now I am getting inbound caller-id again. I didn't know that the description would override the inbound caller-id.

I just saw in the description of my "+" the description is NO DIGITS. CRT 3&4 are my caller-id filter.

I need some help determining whether I have an issue with my PRI provider or our setup.

Inbound calls are displaying "No Digits" for the caller-id.

I've attached a screenshot of my Trunk Group config. Please let me know if there is somewhere else I should be looking.

The problem is...."The old system (Avaya from the 80's) didn't do that...."

When our attendant receives more than one IC call at a time, the 2nd and additional IC callers receive a busy signal for a moment and then continues to ring.

The switchboard has no Forwarding Path or AA.

Is there anyway to fix the momentary busy signal? I tried adding another IC to her phone like we have multiple Call Key's for external calls but both buttons light up.

Any help would be appreciated.

We are looking for someone to assist in the configuration of an office 250.
I'm interested. I've taken care of 14 networked MiV 250 Office systems for almost 3 years. Just finished my MiVo 250 I&M Training and Challenge Exam last week. Sys Admin for 16 years.

It was like that for an hour.

I shut it down again through the panel, restarted and the error return and remains since Friday night.

After replacing the UPS in one of my offices, our MiVoice 250 is stopped with "Waiting on CP" when power was restored. I can still SSH in to it but no Admin and Diag, phones down, PRI card is dark. Does anyone know of a fix for this? My Mitel "Partner" is unresponsive and Mitel won't talk to me. Any assistance is appreciated.

I have opened the tcp/udp ports from the engineering guides, what I have found on here, etc. Gave the MiVoice 250 a NAT IP that is externally reachable, and that's about it.

The one has been in use long before it became my problem has the NAT IP set in:
System > Devices and feature codes > IP connections > Local > Processor Module > NAT IP Address
and in System > IP Settings > System NAT IP Address.

I don't think that there is any port forwarding configured. No MBG, don't know if I need one or not. I have 13 MiVoice 250 systems across 12 offices.
