Typically Access Denied is a COR issue in my experience. The new trunks may not have the right COR to access them.

On the inside if your TW and MBG are trusted it shouldn't be an issue. Is there an external firewall involved? It sounds like it's blocking SIP to the 6900's.

I just saw an option for this from Verizon too, called POTSSolve. It's a box with 8 or 16 ATA Ports that connects to a 66 Block to swing your existing cross-connect to and had a battery backup. Each port is a dedicated line.

Voicemail won't pick up for your overflow point. You'll want to call rerouting 1st Alternative for 1000 to go to voicemail and have mailbox 1000.

A couple of options are available to you from there. I'm not sure if the 112's have additional line keys, but you could put a message waiting indicator for x1000 on those or the 1004 extension.

Is SIP over WiFi an option? We use the Grandstream WP825 connected to Wi-Fi which gives us better range over being tied to a dect base station. Pretty easy to program the device to point to the MiVB and configure a SIP extension. I do have one Mitel 5634 on Wi-Fi as well but for the cost with the same functionality and an easier setup I prefer the GS WP825.

For some of my users we have a segmented, public-only wifi network that would require the phones to be in teleworker mode, or on a VPN so I tend to gravitate toward the DECT base stations that we can hardwire.

Well done. What was the solution.

How are you integrating Teams calling right now?

You need not only 5060, but the calls build on UDP 20000-29999 so that will need to be opened as well between the MBG and your LAN. I'm strictly shooting from the hip here, but it sounds like you may not have the full range of that open. If the MBG is already in your LAN don't forget to trust the networks with your IP phone IP's as well. For instance, if some calls go through a teleworker gateway on another subnet, don't forget to trust that in your SIP MBG (been there).

You'll need to assign a COS to the Ring Group, and the CFNA timer of that COS will send calls to first Alternative of 7400 when the timer expires.

It will depend on if you're using NuPoint or integrate voicemail how it works after that, but that's how you would start.

If you have MiCollab, I have solved this in the past by creating an account for them on that phantom extension and set up everyone's cell phone as a forwarding destination. They can log in and change it as often as they need.

Do you have both IP's in Option 43 or 125 in your external DHCP Server config? Also is there a Secondary Element configured for the phones? It almost sounds like the new 3300 has another system in Network Elements.

Are all calls to voicemail being routed to the same call flow? It should just be as simple as making a call flow for each number.

Do the church and school have different numbers? When a call reroutes to the VM Hunt group it will know the number called (assuming it's set up right which it sounds like it is) and you should be able to set up each number with it's own call flow.

On the MiVB check the Device in User and Services Configuration. The Directory Name in the Service Profile Tab can have a different name. You can also check the Telephone Directory form.

We're exploring this too - just watch on your fire panel lines they have to be NFPA compliant with a certain level of battery backup in case of a power failure.
