MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Re: 250 End of Life

Wry disappointing to us. We seen this coming last Feb 2020 in Dallas at the Mitel meeting.  They never mentioned the Mitel 250 one time.  I agree Mitel has too many product lines. Get rid of the Aastra based stuff. I wish they would put the voice processor of the Mitel 250 into the Mitel 3300 embedded. I’ve worked on the Shoretel and the 3300 but I still prefer the 3300 because it has gone completely to sip …YET

I have 4 analog extensions that are in a hunt group that ring on analog sets.  I added the multi line appearance of the 4 sets on a 6930 set and lost the caller ID on the analog sets….any help appreciated

Why would take the handsets apart?  All you need is a Y adapter for handsets...$8 bucks on Amazon.  We use them all the time.  We also sometimes turn on Silent Monitor on the 3300 to monitor for training purposes too

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Mitel 3300 EOL?
« on: May 11, 2021, 04:56:06 PM »
They just sent out EOL for 200 ICP last week.  If you see the EOL for 3300 you will know its over.  Mitel is so cloud bound in a sea of cloud providers. Not to mention they are way to expensive for cloud services....JMO

What is the network settings for the Mitel 250, MiVoice Office App Suite and your phones.  I would suspect a gateway or subnet mask issue.

i'm still using Mitel IP Page Units in areas because you can't group SIP page units into one page unless you use Mitel Revolution.  Main thing to remember with 5485 page unit is the 3300 9.0 DHCP server will not support DHCP options 128,129,130 you must use external DHCP server with them

Mitel Software Applications / MICC 9.0 IVR Port question?
« on: September 14, 2020, 10:27:33 AM »
I have a client that is using MICC 9.0.   They would like an option in IVR for customer to press digit to be transferred to an external 3rd party for credit card payments.  My question...if the person presses 1 and is transferred to the 3rd party for payment is the IVR port in use until the customer completes the transaction and disconnects? Any help appreciated
