SIP On Mitel / Setting VLAN ID on 6730i
« on: July 05, 2017, 01:40:13 PM »
Hello all. I am trying to be able to specify the VLAN tag that the phone has on it due to some network updates. I want to specify VLAN100. However, then I go to the Advanced Configuration -> Network Page, the VLAN ID box is grayed out and I cannot change the value. In the VLAN area, here is what I have...

Global
VLAN Enable - Unchecked (Cannot change, grayed out)
Priority, Non-IP Packet - 5
HPQ Enable - Enabled

LAN Port
VLAN ID - 1 (Cannot change, grayed out)
SIP Priority - 5 (Cannot change, grayed out)
RTP Priority - 5 (Cannot change, grayed out)
RTCP Priority - 5 (Cannot change, grayed out)

Is there another setting somewhere to enable me to change the VLAN ID from 1 to 100?

Any help is appreciated.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Mitel 5000 SIP Cannot Make Outgoing Calls
« on: January 23, 2015, 01:54:55 PM »
Hello all,

I am trying out a UBNT UVP SIP Phone. I am able to make calls inside the company, but anytime that I try to make an outgoing call, I get an error #404: Extension Does Not Exist.

Being that this is the first SIP device that I have tried on our system, I am not sure if there is something additional that I need to set up in the DB Programming in order to allow the SIP to make an outgoing call.

I have tried dialing the "8" before the number and it does not make a difference. I have tried every combination that I can think of and nothing seems to be working. So that's why I am thinking that it is something in the DB Programming.

If anyone might have any ideas on what to try, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks! That seems to work with the POE port.

Is there any way to specify the VLAN of the PC port on the phone?

So there is no way to set the ports up for the specific VLAN on the phone itself?

We have some 86xx phones and on those, I know that we were able to specify the VLAN for both the POE and the PC Ports.

Is that something that cannot be done locally either?

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Set VLANs on 5340 Phone?
« on: December 03, 2014, 11:16:45 AM »
Hello all.

I am testing out a 5340 phone and I would like to be able to set the POE LAN port to VLAN30 and the PC LAN port to VLAN10.

Currently I am having to set the VLAN on the switch port since I am unable to determine how to set this in the 5000. Is there a way to do this in the software or is there a way that I can set the VLANs for the ports on the phone itself?

Any help would be appreciated =)
