Mitel Software Applications / Mitel 250 Application Suite & Azure

We have a customer who has Mitel Application Suite hosted in MS Azure. It works most of the time but if a disconnection happens, it takes a reboot of the Mitel 250 to restore the connection.
Does anyone have experience of this?

Has anyone managed to get this feature working? It is only available in online view. Toggling it appears to make no difference.

Your carrier must support it as well, otherwise it is of no use... And no, I have never gotten it to work.

Hi.

The carrier is asking for it to be enabled.

So I do so but no difference.

The result is calls are successful to mobiles but not to landlines.

Has anyone installed the new Mitel 112 DECT over a VPN connection?
We have a customer moving part of their business and they want to retain the use of DECT in the remote building.

Hi Dogbreath.

Mitel's MiContact Centre Office (CSM) will do this well. Alternatively, Mitel/Xarios Phone Manager will give indication of who is logged in next to the person's name.

As far as I know, there is nothing is SADS to view this.

Create more extension lists and add the first members to the cascading two lists. That way they will ring in addition to the new members.

Just beware of system resources when using ring all groups.

Hi Ian.

This is not possible as you can only enter an IP address once for the SIP Provider or the 5000 will give you an error.

I did raise this with Mitel support some time ago and was told there is no way round it.

Hi akuhn.
Yes, I am using the Synch Now but MiCollab is not importing the Softphone number associated with the User in the 5000.
It has bought over the main associated extension but just seems to ignore the softphone.

Mitel Software Applications / MiCollab Client & 5000 integration

Hi everyone.

We have a standalone MiCollab Client server connected to our Mitel 5000, via a CT Gateway and this works fine. The problem is that when a User is added, with the required deskphone and softphones configured in their DEE destinations etc, MiCollab will not pick this up so the Mobile Softphone cannot be deployed as it does not exist in MiCollab.

Does anyone know how to force the 5000 and MiCollab to synch? Forcing PBX Node Synchronisation does not do it.

Any ideas welcome.

Hi acejavelin.

Just looking at this from a security angle.

If a hacking attempt saw this, they would then be aware if the make, model and version of system they are attempting to access and use known methods for that system.

Any thoughts welcome.

Does anyone know if there is a way to alter the  SIP properties of a 5000/HX to change "User-Agent: Mitel-5000-ICP-5.1.0.46" in SIP messaging?

Hi.

Send each DDI to a CRA which directs to the final destination. The name of the CRA will show.

There is also a flag to force this per extension but I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head.

Send the CRA to a hunt group containing the phantom. Recall the hunt group to the phantom after 1 second.

The call will then follow it.

For some reason voicemail will not hand off to the phantom and we have used this many times.

I would use an analogue sounder connected to one of the SL ports on the HX Controller, instead of a horn. That way you could pair the two devices using DEE etc.
