MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Paging to Speakers and Phones

Based on some reading, I don't have high hopes, BUT. We have a set up with a single line extension dialing to our paging system. We have a handful of offices that do not feel like they can hear hallway announcements well enough and want it to also feed through their phones.

I setup and am going to try having a page zone that goes to both the paging system and the phones, but I am guessing that will fail to actually come through the speakers since the paging system is what designates the zone, not the phone system.

I also am considering the feasibility of running one of the zones on the paging system back to a single-line port on the phone system, but I'm not seeing a way to force that to do anything but call the phones as opposed to paging them.

Would love any insight. I know this is likely aggressively overcomplicating it, but I want to say I did my due diligence before they end up running speakers into those offices.

Thank you both a ton! That was the missing piece. I manually added it to the extension list in the other two nodes and it's working great.

MiVoice Office 250/Mitel 5000 / Invalid Extension

I've done a bunch of digging because I'm new to the system and figured it was something basic (and it may still be).

We have three buildings for our school and the nurse's extension comes up "Invalid Extension" when dialed from the other two buildings. They can be routed to that extension by calling a different number and being sent over and anybody in that building can call her directly.

I have checked that there are not any Feature Codes that overlap with that extension and the Automated Assistant does not route anything to 1, which is the first digit. All of the Extension's settings seem to match up with what other Extensions have. Everything I have found online and on this forum seems to relate to all extensions, so the fact it's just one extension not working has me stumped.

I am using MiVoice Office 250.

Any help would be great!
