Thank you guys for your help. I managed to get help from Mitel Tech Support and they said the issue is that IMAP now uses SSL version 1.2 which wasn't implemented until version 6.3 of Mitel Call Processing. My client has Mitel Call Processing version 6.2. So a simple upgrade should fix it

I'm really sorry if I have beat this topic to the ground. Is System > E-Mail Gateway > E-mail SMTP Server looking for the the internal domain name of the mail server or the public name for all email systems to connect to same question for the Mailbox > XXXX > E-mail Synchronization > E-mail Server. I have Public Name in Both locations and wonder if that is my problem

Thank you for the suggestion but that did not work as well. I went to each mailbox and switched it between event and polling.

Possibly, when searching the help file for IMAP port 993 it pointed to the Email Reader. The version is 6.2.2 and yes, this is still for that VM to email issue that has been ongoing way to long

I had the IT provider remote in and verified all the settings are correct and he has IMAP set to port 993 but the system is still looking for port 143. He refuses to open up port 143. I have SSL enabled. The server is using port 587 we verified everything. How can I get the controller to look for port 993 and not 143

/I added 3 new sip phones to a client who has working 5330's. 1 of the phones appears to be dropping calls after 15- 20 seconds. Any idea? Low bandwidth?

Their IT dept. said......If your phone server is internal and it’s resolving the external IP of the mail server, then your issue is that the phone server is trying to go outside and hairpin back in. This is typically not allowed.  Your phone server should be resolving webmail.xxxxxxxx.com to 192.168.1.249. My question is how do I do this? Do I use the webmail's external or Internal IP and does it go in the Email Gateway for Email SMTP server? I don't know anything about resolving.

Tech,
It seems to be happening more than one person. It started sometime yesterday to this morning. Were are the audio prompts such as personal greetings" stored at. I see under Mailboxes > Recording Lengths (it shows value)
