just going through some settings -
what is "voicemail dial delay" for? ours is set to 16 tenths of a second.

In this particular case, 1101's normal user was not in the office. I went to the phone and physically logged them out of all groups. 1100 logged in and was able to work.

I don't have a way of knowing if a 3rd person tried to use their Agent ID, but I know for a fact that 1101 was attempting to log in the next day and was told that 1100 was still logged in.

I'll have to check.
We just use 328 and agent ID which logs them into all groups they are assigned to, I don't think the end users are aware of 326/327.

Occasionally we will have users login to ACD queues as another agent's ID if they need to cover a different HG.
EG. ext 1100 will login as agent 1101 via feature 328.
The past few times this has happened, 1101 goes to log in on their phone and it says 1100 is logged in, while they are actually logged out on the phone (I confirmed)
The only way I've been able to fix this is to delete the ACD agent for 1101 and re-create it.

Thoughts?

We have a user that left - manager asked me to change his voicemail greeting to say 'please contact Joe Smith at ext 1234' which is no problem - but he is also asking if we can make it so they can't leave a voicemail.

Is this doable?
Mitel 5000 version 5.0.4.62 with BVM.

We have a 5000 system with 2 nodes and voicemail on both...a user here in Node 1 wants to transfer a voicemail to a user in Node 2.
All of the Node 2 extensions are set as extension IDs in the Node 1 system and vise-versa, but when I dial the voicemail pilot number for node 1 (2501) and enter a Node 2 extension, it says the extension is not valid. I can call into Node 2 and enter my Node 1 extension and the call works.

Thoughts?

I set this up with a STAR app and a couple CRAs, using a digital phone that we forward to a cell.

I ended up using 3 extra digital extensions and forwarded them to the desired numbers. So far it's working, but still curious why the issues with using phantoms.
