How do I forward the phantom extension to an external number? Phantom device > 1NNNN > Forward Path?

I think I found it.
http://mitelforums.com/forum/index.php?topic=3839.msg16151#msg16151
1) 359 (Remote Station Program Feature Access Code)
2) 1110 (Phantom Extension Number)
3) 1110# (Phantom Ext Password you defined)
 - You are now able to activate features as if you were physically on that extension -
4) 355 (Feature Access Code for Forward All Calls)
5) 8 (Outside Call access code, make sure you set the Outside Extension in Associated Extensions of the Phantom correctly)
6) 2223331234 (Destination phone number as you would normally dial it)
7) Hang Up

Inter-tel Axxess system v9.002

We have a 10 person division that is going to be breaking off from our company.  It is going to move to another another city and also their phone numbers are going to change.  They will be given IP phone with these new numbers next week.  The problem is they still wish to receive calls on their old numbers for quite a while.

The management expectation is to forward intercom calls and DID calls to the new numbers.  Is the only way to accomplish this to walk to each phone and [FWD] all calls to the external number?   The only problem with this procedure is that our users have been known to turn FWD features off at the end points.

Thanks for the help.

On a hunch I did a Detail station report and for this extension, under station information> Attendant stations, all of the office extensions are listed.

In programming there is an extension list PP052 that contains all of the office extensions?  What is the feat code to check for forwarding?

What should I do to test?  We have only one Hunt group. HG2000, and it has only 1 member, Ext101

I think there may be a programming issue or group ring issue.

I just had my on-site user call extension 100.    Extension 100 is the listed as the primary Attendant station.    When extension 100 is called from an on-site phone all the office phones rings.  So it looks the CRA is setup right, and somehow when extension 100 is called (ckt 01:02:01:01) all the phones ring.

OK, so I checked Primary Attendants section.  It has the Primary Attendant Station set to extension 100 and the Local Attendant station set to NONE.

Inter-Tel Axxess 9.009 - Does this qualify?

I have a user at one of our sites complaining that "unassigned" external DID's, ring "ALL Extensions" when they are called by an outside party.
I presume that these are DIDs that are set to NONE in the Call Routing Table > 1.  Since all other patterns are going to their proper extensions

Example.
Pattern 1234 is set to a Ring-in Destination of NONE.

Question: Is there any way to change the default behavior of these DID patterns when they are set to NONE?  My thought is that they are going to a STAR Application. I would prefer not to have to change all the available DID patters to ring-in to a specific extension.

Thank you.  The way the voice prompts sounded " to record the system greeting" seemed a bit destructive.

For future reference The workflow that helped me record the new Main number greeting is as follows:

  • Enter Vmail
  • Dial the admin mailbox
  • Enter Password
  • Option [4] for System Greetings
  • Option [1] for Primary Greetings
  • Option [1] for greeting while business is open
  • Listen to existing greeting
  • Press [1] to end review of current greeting
  • Press [1] to Accept  or Press [2] to Review or [3] to Record new or [STAR] to cancel and back out to the previous menu

Can you tell me the call path?  I'm able to get into the admin mailbox, however i'm not sure I have  it right.

Is there a way to listen to the specific greeting before  recording over it?

Our corporation is planning on eliminating our Mitel PBX in the near future and refuses to pay a service provider to perform any moves, adds and changes.

One of the middle managers is asking for us to change the system greeting on our 3300 MXe / SX2000.  I just can't seem to find the mailbox that it uses.  Is there a way to find this out?  I tried using the logsys read SMDR command to see where I go when I call the main number's extension, and shows me connecting to the VM hunt group.

All of our extensions use the last 4 numbers from the DID, however I don't see an extension or a mailbox that ends in the last 4 numbers of the main line.

Perhaps I'll just update my new hire training documents, noting not to use it.

I just turned it to on. "speak@ease preferred"  The softkey turned from a Phonebook to a Speak@ease when the keyset is idle.  I don't have  voice dial as an option.

Is there a way to get rid of the option entirely? Speak@ease is already not set as preferred.

I checked my own COS number.  The options are:

  • Speak@Ease Preferred = no
  • Voice Dial Preferred is not listed
