If the problem still persists, just register that 6940 SIP phone to a MiVoice Business PBX as a generic SIP device, then as the phone become operational in SIP, login to the phone's IP address via browser, go to admin menu with pwd 22222 then try again firmware update with file name MINET_6940-enc.st, tufts server address to be as MiVB PBX's IP and the port 69.

Hi Guys, have an old MX Controller working on Rel9.1 (old Release 9.1). Need Amphenol connector wiring diagram at the back of the controller. Does anyone has an old hardware manual or technician handbook of such release???

Hi guys, any chance of one of you has a sample technical specifications for MiVB systems and IP phones? Mitel's sample specs "Proposal for MiVB" is just scrap. We need to get prepared for some competitive tenders and willing to feed in prospect customers with our sample tender specificatins. Any help will be appreciated, cheers.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Manual Load MiVB9.3 onto AX Controller

Hi All, tried to manual load of MiVB9.3 SW onto blank 16GB CF on AX Controller. Configured MS IIS and tftpd64 TFTP server as per Technician Handbook but it fails after formatting the CF, giving error about some ax image file not found. Guess IIS and tftpd64 configs, as given in tTech Handbook were not working properly. Anyone having this experience?

Hi guys, could not find the u-boot config to manual load MiVB 9.1 or later SW to an AX Controller with blank 16GB CF. Anyone has a hint on if we should add some line to U-Boot something like earlier FixPartition?

Hey Acejavelin, you were absolutely right. The problem was, the last SWA expired in march 2014 and the new SWA yearly fee plus reenlistment fee represents a total cost of almost the same as of a new soft IP PBX !.. We have been motivating them to upgrade the SW as MCD5.0 was not very stable. Anyway, you were right about the PMS integration. We have stopped PMS integration today, and another source of warning maintenance logs of ASUII (out of service) we programmed them properly even if they were out of service. Now, all maintenance logs stopped, log page looks like a new born baby, however minor alarm of 90% mem unavailability popped up at the same interval like a clockwork. I suspect either RTC card or RAID Controller card something like RAM could not transfer data to redundant SSD. Greatly appreciate any other suggestions. Best regards

Thanks Jason. Strangely, this has started on 19th August, without having any, even minor, changes in the system. No SWA and we could upgrade only to the latest release of 11.0.2.96 and no difference. Logs do not indicate any abnormality except several warnings on PMS check out of guest rooms, indicating some guest room data not deleted. Thanks for the idea, will stop PMS connection and monitor if any progress.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / "Memory Used" problem on MXeIII

Hi Guys, Have quite long experience on MCD and MiVoice Business but have a trouble first time so exciting. Appreciate any help and ideas; Have a standalone MCD5.0 system working on MXeIII with 512 MB RAM and expansion kit, i.e. both RTC and E2T cards (as they were exactly the same). System started to raise "Memory Used" alarm after 8 years of very stable operation. It starts with Minor alarm, 2 hours later Major Alarm, couple of more minutes Critical alarm and immediate reset. This cycle goes on every 4 - 5 hours. Same SW load of 11.0.2.66 loaded  and restored from recent backup, 512 MB RAM replaced, 2 RAID HDDs replaced with SSDs, but no way. Memory Used alarm and consequent restarts continue. Any idea / suggestions / former experiences much, very much appreciated.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / SIP Trunk issue with DT

Hi All,

We have a Mitel MiVoice Business installation in Macedonia and it uses SIP trunk to local telco. All are OK except outgoing international call setup. Local Telco delivers all international outgoing call requests to Deutsche Telecom (without further handling). DT immediately sends a "400 Bad Request" message and clears the call. Local Telco says that DT does not support G729 and ask us to restrict SIP Trunk codec setting to G711 a / u only. We did and nothing changed. Seems that some other parameter in SDP Options etc causes the issue. Does anybody have any idea please?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Mitel 5624 VoWiFi Registration problem?

Hi All, trying to setup Mitel 5624 WiFi phones to Mitel 3300 MCD 5.2. Firmware of 5624s is3.4.10. They register to the WiFi network, but cannot register to the Mitel 3300 CX controller. Anybody has experience on 5624 please?
