Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: ACD agent presented with two calls
« on: February 05, 2009, 11:53:14 AM »
Some are calls form the queue and sometimes they are ring backs to the agents.  These only happen at night so I pretty sure they are a result of our sales phone configuration.  We tried creating another queue for the overflowed sales calls that aren't answered to go to but we still get some ring backs.  I have run out of ideas to try to fix it.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / MiTAI proxy server
« on: February 04, 2009, 02:22:33 PM »
Anyone know anything about MiTAI proxy servers?  We have a MiTAI app we use for click to call and integrated it with a custom app we use for daily business.  Currently we connect via the users desktop but we are going to max out the users so we need to figure out how to run the connections through a server.

Sorry, they are multicalls of random numbers with *'s and #'s in them.  They used to be single line of random extensions and we still had issues when they were single line.

They have 5224's and 5220's.  They only have one appearance of the prime line and two other single line appearances.  They are all hot desk ACD agents with resiliency enabled.

« on: January 23, 2009, 03:46:18 PM »
Does anyone know how an ACD agent could be presented with two calls at the same time?  Basically the agent is on a call and during that call another one comes in which causes the agent various problems.  Some of them can't transfer the call and have to put the call on hold and have someone else pick up and transfer it.  Others can't do anything at all.  One user was logged out of her phone when another call was sent to her.  She logged back in and answered the new caller, she then put them on hold to ask a supervisor a question and when she selected the line it was the first caller she thought she lost when her phone logged out.

Does anyone know of any pitfalls or potential problems with increasing the max number of MiTAI clients or sockets from 150 to 400?

How do you enable caller id without using the DASS II OLI/TLI Provided option?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / 3300 Life Span?
« on: December 18, 2008, 02:59:43 PM »
I am trying to find out what the "useful" life of a 3300 controller is.  We have MX's, LX's Mxe's, and Mxe Servers. I am already aware that the 4 MX's and 1 of the LX's will be obsolete with 9.1.  Just trying to find out what the expected life span of a controller is.

Have a user who went to answer and call and when he hit the line his phone reset.  I have the two resulting log entries below.  Can anyone translate this into English for me please?

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: Outbound Caller ID
« on: November 17, 2008, 09:34:12 AM »
CPN Substitution was not programmed and that fixed it.  I should mention we have two DS3's from separate vendors and we split the inbound and outbound traffic between them.  Both DS3's come into an Adtran Atlas 890 and we mux out the lines from there to the 3300's.  My confusion comes because both vendors are supposed to be inserting the caller ID.  I am guessing that either the programming isn't right in the Adtran and I am going out on one of the dedicated T1's or our vendors aren't actually providing it.  Anybody and Adtran genius too?  If not, no worries I will figure it out.

Thanks for all of your help!

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Outbound Caller ID
« on: November 14, 2008, 11:24:40 AM »
We recently installed a new T1 module and the outbound caller id isn't working.  It comes up unknown or private.  I compared the COS of the trunks to another controller that is working and there was no difference.  If anyone could enlighten me on this subject I would appreciate it.

Mitel MiVoice Business/MCD/3300 / Re: 3300 Hunt group call flow problem
« on: November 12, 2008, 12:28:16 PM »
If I understand correctly you are trying to ring 5 different sets one at a time and if none of them answer you want it to go to voicemail.  We do something similar here where we have a pool of 64 hunt group members that are responsible for answering overflow calls.  I do not know of a way to make the call make that many hops because of only having a 1st and 2nd alt for routing, so essentially three hops.  The first member, second member, then voicemail.  The way we get around it to use a circular hunt group and put a DND on the phones.  That way it won't try to send to call to that particular phone unless they are there and capable of answering.  If you can ring all sets at once then the ring group would be a good alternative as Ralph "The Wise" has suggested.
