Is there a way to block an incoming call from a specific number. Or do i have to go to my carrier for that?
Thanks.

depends what apps you have at your disposal. With just the 3300, no not possible.
With an IQ, yes, but you would have to pass all calls through the IQ to be filtered.
I think I have read that this can also be done with NuPoint but I am not too hot on this.

Thanks Bob! I do have NuPoint...i will have to look into that. If it is a big reconfig job, i will pass, and see if my provider can block the number.

I think that you just need to route the call through a Call Director MB and set a rule to intercept that number and do what you wish with it.

I get so many of these type of request that I've started investigating alternative ways of doing this.
I've got another thread going here somewhere, where I've proposed doing this via SIP and an Asterisk box or a Ingate Siparator.
Just haven't had time to do yet. We're busy a <insert favorite expletive here>!

In the IP world it is called source based routing. I'm hoping for version 5 of MCD......
