Title: Problem with IP Trunking "Can someone help me"
Post by: gimitel on July 02, 2010, 11:26:30 PM
Dear Mitel friends.
I have program two mitel 3300 ICP CXi in my test lab to call between sites using IP Trunking.
I also used two vpn routers to build a vpn tunnel between the two 3300 CXi.
I can ping the ICP from site A (192.168.1.2) to site B (192.168.2.5). I cab also ping the IP Phones from site A to Site B and visa versa.
The problem i am having now is that when i make 4 digits call (internal call) to the other site i will get an Out of Service message.

In the maintanance command on the icp i entered state xnet all, and i can see the the IP trunk  is out of service!!

Both ICP has IP Networking License & XNet license
I enable the Public network via DPNSS in the COS
I enable the DPNSS in the system option
I programm in the Voice Network Configuration,
the Network element assignment (Local & Non Local) & Cluster element assignment
I program the ICP/PBX Assignment (local & Non Local)
I program the XNET ICP/PBX Assignment (Non Local)
I program the Trunk Service Assignment
I program the IP/XNET Trunk Profile Assignmet
I program the IP/XNET Trunk Group Assignmet
I program the Route Assignment
I program the ARS Digit Dailed.

I did everything by the book, but still when i make a call from one site to the other i will receive an OUT OF SERVICE message.
The system also give out an alarm about ICP COMS Card (something like that).

Can someone help me out? Is it maybe the VPN Router that causing this problem, because the pinging from one site to the other goes fine. I can even open the ICP URL page from site B (192.168.2.5) when i logon in site A.

This could be tough to assist here.   You may have to have someone do a data conf and review your config with you.

ICP COMMs Card error is referring to a NOT working IP trunk connection. This is config fault
